Yes, will work. But please check your amp capacity of the split unit before. Always work with some gap for security reasons. At the start the split makes a peak

What is the output on this device? is it 240V? what does 24v mean that is shawn on the back side

DPDT to control motor?

This is a single dry contact. You would need a Dpdt relay in conjunction with this. Wire the dry contact in series with the dpdt relay coil.

Is there a case that this can be installed in, so that it could be wall mounted?
