Previously i was using Philips full body grooming kit, it lasted for 4+ years. Bought this Wahl classic clipper as i use to cut hair more than trim beard. Wahl clipper classic is awesome, easy to use and efficient. Product i received had proper setting factory done, no major noise or large vibrations. ready to use. Electro-mechanical device so its heats a little after almost 1hr continuous use, give a small break to cool and ready to use again.(Anyways 1hr continuous use is too much to cut hair) Its smooth, blades do not hurt on skin. I used it for trimming beard, it worked fine.Satisfied till now. lets see how long it can last. Good product if u like to style yourself and stay away from barber shops during Corona times.Bought it for Rs3000. Motor is powerful enough for thick hair also. Go for it.

This product is perfect for home use. It’s easy to use, the blades do a very good job. The cord length is good. You can do a really good job using these clippers for haircut, beard trim. The different level clips provided are close to accurate and provides a good clean cut. Only concern if you are looking to do a fade cut at home it’s not that effective. Heating is a problem. It’s the case in all corded clippers. You can alternate by giving short breaks during haircuts by switching off the power switch.

The fear of contacting covid while visiting the salon forced me to look for a hair clipper, now I must say it was a good decision to go with walh since it's sturdy, silent and cheap compared to Philips.I'd recommend this to anyone, there is one model which costs couple of hundreds more, but it's not worthy since it's just having a nice arrangements kit to safely place the clipper and accessories, I can say so since it's with my cousin.

After using this for a couple of month, I gave it away to someone willing to fiddle with it.The blade gets jammed all the time even with proper oil applied.The mechanism is not working properly, there is an adjustment screw at the side and you can remove the blades, but it's not possible to get it working for long.The metal plate that covers the moving blade has no proper position to be fixed in, the two screws diameter is much less than the holes in the plate, so you can fix it in a lot of different positions. The adjustment to make the blade move left and right without jamming is a painful job. The screws also have no fine threading so if they are just a little too loose they remove. Tightening it to much jams the blade.I had a Wahl trimmer before, a real Wahl. I never even had to do anything in over ten years other than cleaning and applying oil. This seems like a very cheap copy.The power cord is very long, but it is the size of a power cord for a 1500 W heater, heavy and oversized.The starting of the motor feels like the real Wahl trimmer I had, so first I thought it was good quality, but it isn't.So I totally not recommend this trimmer. I ordered a Panasonic ER 207 again that worked well for years, even the Panasonic for 1600 Rs. was better in cutting.

If you are looking for the best trimmer/clipper...just go for it.

My husband had a Wahl few years ago which worked well. So I figured I’ll go with it again due to the lockdown hair for kid and husband. The clipper heated up after using it on both of them. Otherwise it was easy to use and worked well. Wish there was a bigger range in Comb sizes because it stops at size 4. I think the earlier set we owned went up to 8.

The clipper is for heavy use and very long lasting with a heavy motor which makes sure that the cut is smooth and effortless. The only thing negative is that the stock I received was an older one and was slightly rusted I registered the product on Wahl’s India website however no acknowledgement for the same however overall satisfied with my purchase

This Wahl Classic hair clipper is perfect for the Lockdown haircut. Don’t go for any beard trimmer for the haircut as it will surely mess up your hair. Use a hair clipper and this one is one of the best for the job. Very easy to use and read the instructions before switching it on. Can do basic cuts like fade and buzz cut easily. Search YouTube for “Wahl fade” and see how easy it is. I tried it for the first time upon delivery and it was a breeze.No point in buying this in India in normal times, when your neighborhood hair saloon can do a good hair cut at a cheap price. But this is a must during lockdown, hence stick to a quality name like Wahl so that you can use it more than once. This is a made in USA clipper (with India warranty card) so don’t go for a cheap Chinese brand that conks out after a few uses.Fully recommended.
