Q: Description says 4x7/8 inches, but spec say 8.3x3.4 inches. Which is the actual dimensions?

Four inches long by 7/8 wide is correct. The number for "product dimensions" can only actually be the box that holds several of these when General ships them out. That area that says the wrong dimensions, also says 0.32 oz. as weight, pretty clever for an 8 ounce plumb bob. Amazon fails at providing useful information. In this case, they just confuse the customer. I don't understand why they can't get it right, but my go to answer if I find myself lacking information is the manufacturer's page.
