Nice and Sturdy Buckle
I installed this on my Citizen Avion watch. This is a nice brushed metal look and it believe it's the only one on Amazon that's brushed metal. The buckle is very sturdy and it's not sharp at all. It's very comfortable for all day use.To point out the sturdiness of the buckle, I ride a motorcycle and with the vibration of the handlebars the watch stays on my wrist with no issues. The watch doesn't come with a tool for the spring but if you have a thumb tack it'll work.I highly recommend this buckle. It definitely keeps from always having to flex the leather strap to buckle it on standard buckles.

Not bad for the price, a few minor issues but not enough to return it.
Functions as expected, but is a little bulkier than I would’ve thought. Fit and finish seem OK, however the latching mechanism gets a little sticky and could’ve used a little more refinement. Might just be manufacturing tolerances on the one I got, or could be design, but as long as you firmly press us the buttons it’ll eventually open. Overall I’m happy with the purchase, but would be looking at a different brand for my next butterfly clasp.

Some good some bad
I used this for a watch band of my own design. The buckle part requires a hole through the leather, but not as large as that of a standard buckle (normally there would be a row of holes, but I only have to fit one wrist so I only needed one hole). The pros:- It's quite easy to use with a removable spring pin on one side and a buckle on the other side.- The buckle design does not bend the leather so my watch band will last much longer than with a standard buckleThe cons:- It's quite thick so it will cause the band to stand out about ¼" from my wrist, which is annoying when typing. There are no sharp edges to scratch my wrist rest though.- It leaves annoying marks on my wrist (pictured).- Sometimes the clasp sticks so it takes a little bit of effort to get it off.- If you like to occasionally loosen your watch instead of using just one hole, that's much more difficult to do than with a standard buckle.Overall, this is a decent clasp and will work well with a hobbyist, but I wouldn't make a sellable product with it.

Best in Class
I've tried a lot of different brands of butterfly deployment clasps on Amazon but found the Rechere versions the best. Why do I think they are the best?1) Quality of the metal seems to be more rugged and better steel. Others seem flimsy and wobbly.2) Design is better because Rechere clasps really snaps into place with a stiff open and close pin buckle closure.I'm definitely buying more

Love This Style
There are few leather bands on Amazon with deployment clasps. After watching a few YT videos, I ordered this one to fit a hand-tooled band I already have and love. The clasp doesn't come with the little fork tool to remove the old/install the new clasp easily, but I managed with a tiny flathead screwdriver and needle-nose pliers. Just go slow, under good light, over a contrasting surface, preferably a towel to contain the tiny pieces. The tapered watchband end fits on top of the installed clasp so still uses the band keepers.

Too big
I purchased 1 silver 2mm, and 1 black 22mm clasps. Both were too big for my 22mm straps. I have one watch with a 23mm band, and these fit the strap perfectly, but I did not intend to use these on that particular band. You can see in the picture that there is quite a bit of room to slide, when it's should be a snug fit.I confirmed my orders were for the 22mm, and even the packaging states 22mm. But these are larger than advertised.

Sharp edges
These work but are not very well finished. All edges are razor sharp and dig into your wrist. Mechanical operation works but with resistance like chalk on a chalkboard. ie not smooth like butter. Generally not an improvement from the standard buckle, and the luxurious upgrade I've experienced with other manufacturers. This type of latch is definitely an improvement over a standard buckle but not with this brand.
