Its versatility and portability make it a unique and practical choice for both personal and professional use.Pros:Versatility: This printer excels at printing on a variety of surfaces. Whether it's wood, metal, plastics, or even textiles, the M15 handles it all with ease.Quality of Ink: The black fast-drying ink cartridge included provides clear and smudge-proof markings, ensuring your prints remain sharp and legible for a long time. However, the replacement cartridges are expensive, oftentimes costing more than the printer itself. I was able to find alternative ink cartridges though, as it uses ink cartridges for post machines. It is the same form factor as the OEM cartridge, you just have to remove some external parts which just snap off. I was able to get a 2-pack of the alternative cartridges for $40.User-Friendly: The 2.8'' touchscreen interface is intuitive and easy to navigate. This allows for quick setup and adjustments to text, dates, barcodes, logos, QR codes, and batch numbers. However, the on-screen keyboard is tiny so you will need a stylus to type on it. There's a lot of fat-fingering otherwise.Portability: Its compact design makes it easy to transport and use in different environments. This handheld device is a great tool for on-the-go printing tasks.

This portable mini handheld inkjet printer is really great quality and it works fantastic. The printer is easy to set up and easy to use. It's well made and the craftsmanship is really nice. I got this for my wife and she loves it.

I'm a software engineer and as such, I've used many printers in the past. This is one of the more interesting printers, without having a dedicated print bed. You set up the text and graphics you want and then simply drag the printer face across the material, and it prints. This provides a lot of flexibility in what you can print on since thickness is no longer a consideration.I imagine the primary use case is for businesses. You can print barcodes or labels directly on products rather than having to print out stickers. I don't have this particular use case but can still find plenty of use cases around the home and at work.One of the aspects I was a bit surprised with was that there's no need for a phone connection, and it won't even take one. All of the printing is handled through the device itself. It does have a USB C interface that is used both for charging, as well as data input since you can feed it excel files, font files, and such.While the software on the device seems pretty extensive with all of the options, it's also one of the weak points. Figuring out how to do anything can be a bit of a chore. I spent far more time than should have been required simply to get a 2 line layout, even after reading the manual. The interface isn't particularly intuitive and on the small screen with a stylus, until you've got some experience on the device, it'll take some patience to print as you desire.Another shortcoming is the price of the ink cartridges, which can approach the total cost of the device as it currently sits. I recognize printer manufacturers have been making more money on ink than printers for years, but somehow it seems even worse on what is arguably a label printer, albeit a very cool one.The print quality itself is great, and the ink dries quickly. I'm primarily impressed with the flexibility and how well it prints directly on objects, without the need for a flat piece of paper or sticker.I think the printer is very cool but for home use, the cost of the ink will likely get in the way of continued use. Ink jets also dry up over time so for occasional use like you'd likely get at home, the issue is even larger. For a business though where use is more continual, and the cost of the ink gets absorbed in the overall production cost of the products, it may not be as much of a concern. Just be prepared to spend some time and patience working with it to understand how to set your prints up appropriately.
