Powerful!
I've got a 30m hornbeam hedge and was getting fed up with dragging a cake around and taking care not to sever it. After extensive research, I bought this to replace it. What a joy it is to use. It cuts through the hedge so easily and isn't as heavy as a petrol one I used a number of years ago. In fact, I'm that happy with Greenworks that I've invested in a 40V blower/vacuum from their range that uses the same battery and purchased two extra batteries.

Light to handle & decent battery charge.
Really get through masses of work effortlessly with this. The battery lasts about an hour by which time you need a rest wielding 3.5kg about. Worth oiling the cutter blades after each use. Excellent purchase. I didn’t go for the big brand names. This is well built and works very well too.

Great Hedge Trimmer
Battery life, control, noise level, ability to cut thumb thickness pieces of wood are all great. The one problem I've had is when a hard bit of dead wood is encountered it occasionally jams the teeth and causes one side of the blades to slip. In order to correct this, a T25 torx key, a small spanner and a sturdy screwdriver are required to loosen and move the blade back to its correct spot. This happened twice in 2 days of demanding hedge cutting. Still much faster and more comfortable cutting than my older Macalister model, that fell apart dangerously after a few years.

Greenworks cordless hedge trimmer
The trimmer was an excellent price and delivery quick. Once received it was put on charge as per the instructions. Once fully charged I immediately started to trim my hedge which at 2m + tall and 5m approx., in length has always been a challenge. It also has some quite hefty branches and brambles in it too. The trimmer coped well and there was plenty of charge left when I had finished. All in all it is fairly light and easy to use. As it is a recent buy and only used once it is difficult to provide a comprehensive review but it is looking promising and I'm happy so far

Reliable-easy to use- quality hedge cutter
I have a 12 ft high, 40 m hornbeam and laurel hedge surrounding the property. And having used this hedge cutter for a couple of weeks, I must confess, that the hedge has never looked better, or sharper. To be clear, it is important that the blades are well oiled prior to using, and that the cutting blades are kept sharp, by sharpening and honing. Of course wherever blades are involved this applies. Too, I never let the young seasonal shoots become mature or woody, this would put more stress on the blades than they are designed for. So keep your hedge trimmed weekly during the growing season, and you will make light work of it. For the price, this trimmer and I would put it into the trimmer class, is worth every penny. If you are having to restore an over and outgrown mature hedge, this, is not the tool for it. In which case you will have to invest in the next trimmer class up, and you will be looking at £500.00 plus.

Great to use
Light weight and the battery last very well, I really used this and always have enough battery life, cut a 30 foot long 6 foot high hedge one day and still had loads of life left in the battery !!

A good and versatile trimmer
Overall I'm impressed with the cutting power, weight and battery life. I also have the pole trimmer, which I bought over a year ago and between both I can easily cut my hedge on a full charge from both batteries / trimmers. The hedge is a good 3m high x 60m long and between them they made short work of it. It is not as powerful as my old 240v mains trimmer and I didn't this to be, then again I don't have any heavy branches to deal with so not a problem 99% of the time. Weight is OK, about the same as my old trimmer and the big bonus is not having to worry about moving or accidentally trimming the mains chord, which makes the whole process a lot simpler and safer.
