This remote programmed easily with both my LG Smart TV and original Nvidia Shield using the provided device codes. However, I'm disappointed that the APP buttons aren't programmable with the Shield, even using button remapping apps—the button presses simply aren't registered. The "menu" (three dashes) button also doesn't function correctly on the Shield, acting as a home button instead, even within the remapping app.Despite these shortcomings, the remote offers master volume control, a battery-saving mode, is rechargeable, and otherwise functions as expected with multiple ways to program it for numerous devices.

Awesome remote control came pre-programmed for Samsung and works every TV in my house all Samsung. Controls with ease all my streaming channels as well as my YouTube TV. Great value very economical easy to use and yes, it is back lit.

The remote really surprised me. It worked even better than expected. Out of box it worked with my 2012 Samsung TV and my Roku box. It is very easy to program. It even recognized my AVA-3805 2004 Denon amp.Simple to use and understand. Best remote for the money.Thanks, Gary

Purchased to see if it could be a rechargeable Roku remote as the Roku remote that came with my tcl tv only has batteries and it drains batteries fast!The Remote is light weight, it has buttons where the numbers/letters/symbols illuminate whenever pressed. has a usb c port at the bottom to charge. I don’t know how long the remote last, out the box it had juice, and for the week of having it’s worked fine.The remote comes with several codes for just about every brand. My tv is a tcl Roku and the first tcl tv code worked. Super easy instructions. Everything works as I wanted. I read other reviews about certain parts of thier remote didn’t work after they programmed like the Disney, YouTube buttons not working or the volume channel buttons not working. I had something similar happen but after further programming everything works just like a Roku remote would.Completely satisfied with this purchase! Will purchase another one for my other tv.
