Awesome!!!
Exactly what we needed! No more random DM notes all over the place, and it makes it easier to plan encounters (I have the ADHD, so tools like this are a MASSIVE help to me as a DM).

Exactly what you need, no frills
So first of all, this arrives packaged nicely in a gray felt cover. The magnetic pegs are packaged by themselves in a black baggie. The faux leather covering of the screen is plain, but that's ok. There is a nice debossed dragon emblem with "Roll For Adventure" text. The interior of the screen is a brown felt. What really matters in a gamemaster's screen is the inserts. The sheets you get are incredibly bare-bones. You won't find fancy typefaces or illustrations. Just charts of useful data. However, the one thing this set does that really impresses me is it gives the DnD 5e book and page number for every relevant rule, just in case you need to reference more in-depth explanations. While I haven't previewed every screen out there, including the book and page numbers is not something I've seen on any other screen before. This is a very handy addition.Included with the rules inserts is a clear acrylic panel that can be used with a blank sheet behind it to act as a whiteboard for taking notes. Personally, I likely won't use this, as I have a Rocketbook notebook for note taking, I can see this being useful for others. The number of inserts you get are plentiful and cover everything from combat, to ability checks, to common pricing of goods and services. In fact, there are more inserts than there are panels on the screen to display them. So you'll either have to pick and choose what is most important to you, or do what I did and double up the inserts behind the magnets so I can flip to the lesser used rules if and when I need them. The main selling point of this screen is also one of the downsides. Since the inserts are held onto the screen with magnets (instead of tucked into plastic sleeves, like most screens), this makes them very easy to replace, but also very prone to damage and wrinkles. I haven't even played a game session yet and already some of my insert pages have creases and wrinkles just from setting it up for this review. Some will be put off by the lack of any real flair to the design of this screen, but I actually like the simplistic no-nonsense approach. From a design standpoint, I'd probably rate this about 2.5 stars. However, what really matters is how well this will aid in playing the game. Durability worries aside, this is probably one of the more useful DM screens I've seen yet.

A lot of nice features and still packs down quite small
The screen is about the size of the usual chipboard screens you see next to the books at the hobby store. The picture includes a book for scale, which most people looking at this should be familiar with. It won’t completely wall off the end of most tables, so if you have players prone to peeking this won't block them. However, it strikes a good balance between providing some screening for secret rolls and allowing room to make eye contact with your players. As far as I can tell, the magnetic pins can be placed anywhere on the solid panels, as there seems to be a metal insert covering the entire panel area. The hinges are made of leather to allow it to fold up, so pins can’t stick there. When folded, the whole thing is about the size of a large notepad paper case, or roughly two chipboard screens put together. Everything fits into the included carrying case, which is very nice and will help keep it from getting scuffed up inside my bag when traveling to games. It came with a good sized pile of pins, but not so many that they have a hard time fitting into the carrying case, so a good balance there too.The dry erase panel is a nice touch, though I wish there was one for each section instead of just a single panel. It is essentially an 8.5x11 inch piece of polycarbonate with holes drilled and magnets glued into those holes, so I could probably make some of my own without much trouble. However, I am a bit concerned about the long-term durability of the magnets, as the holes are drilled all the way through the panel, meaning the magnets are only glued around the edges. The leather has a strong chemical smell that is still lingering several days later. This is normal for leather in my experience, though many companies will air it out in the factory before shipping to customers, as it’s not a pleasant smell. As unpleasant as it is, I have left it open on top of a bookshelf with plenty of circulation, and it is slowly dissipating.I’m giving this product 5 stars because I feel the functionality and price more than compensate for some minor nitpicks, making it a great overall purchase.

Amazing DM Screen!
This is a must have for any DM/GM for Table Top gaming. It not only opens up big to block your edge of the table from prying eyes, it also has plastic covers for you to write with a white erase marker. One of my favorite parts of this screen is the magnets that it comes with. I can now hang papers easily, or use them as position tokens. If you are a DM and in need of a screen, I cannot recommend this one enough.
