I was experiencing a problem resetting the language mode on this camera and had emailed their support team for assistance. They returned an email the very next day. They were on holiday and said they would assist when off, but they continued to help me anyway. With a couple of back and forth emails, I was able to correct the language mode! I honestly have NEVER experienced such WONDERFUL customer service on anything, especially in today's world! I am very appreciative for the support and additional service they provided. Once I've had an opportunity to use the camera a bit more, I'll be writing a review on this as well. Now that I'm able to scroll through the menus with ease, I can tell this is going to be easy to use and able to enjoy! Thank you!!!

I purchased this camera for my 11yo son who wants to be a content creator. It is simple enough for him to use and the quality is fantastic.

This is a terrible camera. My expectations were really low, I was not expecting it to person so poorly. 1) Every video it makes is corrupted. About 20 seconds the video turns black and this black section is corrupted. If you're using iMovie or Premiere Pro, the video you make won't export due to the damaged blackouts. You have to slice out the blackouts like a surgeon removes a cancerous tumor. 2) The video quality is just cheap. The colors are dull and lack any kind to vibrancy. 3) The battery is beneath the camera and if have the camera attached to a tripod or a hand mount, you can't quickly switch the battery. 4) The mic works but the recorded audio sound has not treble or bass. It just sounds empty..This was a total piece of trash. Don't buy this.

For the money, this is really a good camera. As stated, it does not have optical zoom, that is, with lenses. I use it for filming model aircraft in action, and while it is far from perfect, it does perform well.I only have one issue with it, and that is the display. In bright light, and on a cloudy but sunny day, it is hard to find airplanes on the viewfinder. Some sort of removable glare shield would help tremendously.

Great little camera. We ordered it to capture some behind the scenes footage from our wedding. The kit was great and used some of the accessories. It’s easy to use and powers up quickly so you don’t miss stuff. The video was easy to export and the video quality was amazing. We didn’t get a chance to use all the accessories yet but definitely will.

I'm a documentary filmmaker by trade who usually uses several manual DSLR cameras to shoot interviews, however, I started a podcast with a friend and found my pro kit was super cumbersome to manage and maintain while also being on camera. This lil' guy was the answer. It's a wide enough angle and high enough quality that it can get all three of us in the shot and I can zoom into whomever is talking in post without losing quality. Also nice is that I could attach my existing wireless lav and use for our guest so I don't pick up too much noise. I still use a H4N with two wired lavs for host audio, but honestly the shotgun mic provided in this kit is probably fine for casual production. It comes with a light attachment that has a bight, warm, and cold setting which is cool for different effects - and all of the attachments are chargeable by USB-C. My only complaint would be that the hot shoe accessories included (light and shotgun mic) don't have an additional hot shoe on top of them to stack another accessory - but that's probably not an issue a casual video camera user cares about.All in all this lil' guy cut my set-up time down by more than half and because it has a 360 degree view screen and a remote, I didn't need to be behind the camera to hit stop and record. Bonus, it records on SD cards which makes it easy to transfer footage (it also apparently plugs right into a computer to record straight to hard drive or livestream, but I haven't tried those.)I haven't used it for much outside of attaching it to a pair of sticks for podcasts but its easy, lightweight, small, and fairly inexpensive enough that this camera is probably going to make onto the packing list for family vacations or projects I can do with the kids.
