great toy
bought it for my 6 yr old grandson, probably better for an older child 10-12 . He did learn to work it but only with guidance from his older brother. Did work great, and he loved it

Drone
This is so freaking cool. Love it....Battery life could be longer, but I understand because of the size of the drone.

So good we got a second
Impressed!!! 2 days in and the 2 we got are blowing our minds. Mostly indoor, but kinda okay in mellow wind outdoors. Might not last much longer but for $20 we are stoked.

Great potential, missed.
The good:The pre-programmed stunts that this can do are pretty neat! I've not seen that before. It was pretty fun to do the stunts at the tap of a button.Charging time wasn't terribly long, though I didn't actually time it.The bad:No interchangeable battery. Once the battery is drained you have to plug in the drone itself to charge. Fun, delayed.Drift. This thing is constantly drifting one way or another. It does have 'trim' adjustments to correct for this but I didn't find them to actually correct the issue.SLOW horizontal flight. It does have the fast mode, but the regular mode is unbearably slow. So slow that I couldn't even fly it 30 feet back to myself. It was moving forward at like 1 foot per minute. Then the battery died and it fell in my neighbors yard. For the current $40 I'd spend my money elsewhere.

Nice for a starter
I had no idea what to get my 13 yr old and decided to take a chance on this. He likes it but if you have pets in the home be prepared to be cleaning it often. We have found that tweezers is this little drones best friend. The instructions and box contradict itself by one saying indoor use only and the other stating it can be used outdoors. My 13 yr says itās definitely an indoor as it was difficult to us outdoors but that may be due to being inexperienced. The propellers are hard to remove for cleaning is why we use tweezers as we havenāt been able to remove them. They seem a bit fragile and we are afraid to pull to hard that it may break. It does come with extra parts so maybe after being flown a bit it will be easier. This is our first experience with a drone so we are still learning.
