Surprisingly good deal - good quality, great mic
I wanted a pair of wireless gaming headphones for work and some casual gaming. My criteria were:- Good microphone- Bluetooth and 2.4GHz so I can switch between my computer and phone- Fabric earcups (I run hot)- Good sound qualityI work from home, so I don't need active noise canceling. These headphones fit the bill 100%. I was concerned that because they were refurbished, they might the 2020 version, but these are indeed the 2023 version.I'm not an audiophile, but to my ears, they sound really good. They don't have the same wide soundstage as my open ear wired headphones, but I'm OK with the tradeoff. Music is clear and crisp, great separation, though there's a little distortion at the upper volumes. I can't tolerate that amount of loudness so it's not an issue. The microphone is amazingly clear, such that a coworker commented on it during a call. It's not podcast quality, but it's leaps and bounds better than the compressed tin can sound that most gaming mics deliver.Last big plusses are: Great range. I can walk around the house and a bit in the yard without dropouts. Maybe 40 feet or so with walls? Really impressive. And the battery life is great. I haven't come close to running out of juice. I just plug it in for a bit every few days. I also like how there's preset EQ on the cans. I can adjust levels while I'm on my Mac.On the minus side, the simultaneous Bluetooth and 2.4GHz isn't as smooth as I'd hoped. If I'm listening to music on my phone and I get an audio notification on my computer, the music pauses and I have to restart it manually. I was hoping they'd be more…simultaneous. And the clamping force is a little higher than my wired headphones. I have a big ol' melon of a head, so that's more a problem of genetics than the headphones. I can still wear them all day if I adjust them just right…Great deal compared to the retail price! I was surprised how good the condition was. They might as well have been brand new. I'm very satisfied on all levels!

A literal game changer
These headphones are incredible! I used to use the Corsair Void RGB Elite for the 7.1 sound. These vastly exceed the quality of Corsair. The software, Razer Synapse, works much better than Corsair iCue. These headphones have a compressor feature that brings down loud sounds and increases quiet sounds (Footsteps specifically in competitive games??). The only negative is that the ear cups are slightly small. I have small ears, that lay closer to my head, and somehow these still put pressure on the top or sides of my ears. I couldn't see myself liking these if I had medium or large ears. I swapped the ear cups out for cooling replacements from Wicked Cushions. Best choice to enhance these to their max.

WORST HEADSET EVER. Beep Beeeeep Beeeeeeeeep.
It sounds great when you really dig deep into the EQ. Still, one of the most annoying features of this headset is that it will randomly stop playing whatever you're listening to, beep four times, and go back to whatever you're listening to—no information whatsoever. My battery is at 50%. I need to know how to stop this. It is the most annoying thing when I am using the headset. If RAZER reaches out to me with a fix to this.Update: They haven't. I still haven't found a solution to this, and neither has anyone else that I have investigated. Steer clear of this headset if you want to use it for anything other than Bluetooth. If you're using the dongle, it will not work well. Even with Bluetooth, there will be a delay with audio.I want to throw this headset every time the sound goes out for four seconds while I am playing a competitive game.I will never buy another thing from Razer again.

Very nice high five
Playback quality is decent. I’m not a huge fan of virtual surround so I play most games in stereo, but the THX virtual effect is streets ahead of, say, Windows Sonic. Music sounds okay. Playback quality = 3/5Comfort is a mixed bag. It’s fine for relatively short durations, but after 1.5 hours or so, it feels a bit too snug on the ears and I seem to be frequently adjusting it. Comfort = 3/5.Microphone and battery life are the standouts on this headset I think. Even compared to more expensive/premium headsets, this mic reviews better. It’s nice that’s it’s modular, too. When testing in Discord my voice sounds loud, clear, and background noise is filtered well even without any enhancements. I can usually get away with charging it only 1 - 2x a month, too (I try to keep it between 20% - 80%). Mic = 5/5. Battery = 5/5Razer Synapse is a PITA but has improved in the last year or so. It’s not needed but does improve functionality and gives battery level readings. Software = 3.5/5All in all, a really good value headset and hard to beat at this price. The Barracuda might be better but not by much. I highly recommend this to anyone not wanting to break the bank.

Great sound, shoddy construction.
Great sound quality, easy to customize the audio profiles via razor's software. HOWEVER, the bracket where the earphones meet the headband are garbage. One broke after only 2 months, I used electric tape to put it back together and about 4 months later the other bracket on the other side broke. More tape later and they're working, but I'm reading that this is a VERY common problem and Razor's customer support is not helpful in the slightest. As good as the sound is on this headset is, I would recommend other brands as again, this is a common issue.

Got them used. For half regular price. Good sound quality, but very delicate. Handle with care

Gaming headset!
The only problem I've had so far is it's a little tight for my head which isn't entirely new. Most headsets are. The sound blocking is fantastic and the mic is super clear. Definitely a favorite.
