Centered & Straight
This is a solid quality tool. Comes with some drill bits and interchangeable guide bushings. Make sure you really crank down on the tool. You could get sone deflection if not. The product worked well for me in making floating shelves. I would recommend it.

Works excellent but needs a center line between holes, initial set up is unclear
This tool works very well but could be majorly improved:-- The tool has a center with the doweling guides and two left/right arms on springs. The instructions don't actually specify how to loosen/tighten the give and the initial tool wasn't centering accurately because of the play. There's a nut, spring, and ball assembly that controls the center plate that needs to be tightened.-- Has markings indicating centers of the holes but really needs markings for centering between holes to center two dowels instead of just one. Easy to scratch in a center mark but still inconvenient.

Nice jig for it's intended purpose.
This is a well built jig that works well. I do wish I could disassemble the jig to use on flat faces.

This dowel jig worked perfectly for me. The instructions were easy to understand and it is adjustable.

Loose guide rods prevent desired precision.
It's OK. It would greatly benefit if they drilled the holes in the blue side plates to better fit the guide rods. They're loose enough to allow the plates to torque out and result in the centerline shifting about 1/16 in. In my photo, you can see the left jaw is flush with the left face of the 1x2 board, but the right jaw edge has a gap of approximately 1/8 in. I drilled 16 pairs of 1/4 in holes and only 3 of them resulted in the faces of the two boards being flush. The remaining holes had to be reamed out to get the faces flush. My homemade jig has similar accuracy. As others have noted, the drill bits are undersized . The plusses are that the site lines work well, the guides fit well with a true 1/4 in drill bit, and it's sturdy. I'm going to keep shopping though.

Good quality not the most accurate
Might be me that I don't know how to operate it perfectly, but there are some deviations between holes, this means to me that the jig is not fools' proof
