The item is true to the sizes advertised. Only had it a few days, but it appears to be of a good quality, as far as mouse pads go. Shipping was expeditious and timely, while the item was well packaged. There aren't any of the noxious odors that one might expect from a rubber mat that has been rolled up inside a plastic bag and exposed to unknown amounts of heat while in transit. All of my devices work just fine with this pad, and it's definitely more convenient than a traditional size mouse pads when using multiple devices.

My husband didn't use a mousepad at all and said he didn't need one but when he got this, first of all he didn't want to take it downstairs to his desk because he wanted to check out the map of the world (as all of us did after he opened it). Not as detailed as a regular map but close enough to tell where things are in relation to other countries. It is really great when you are just sitting there thinking what else you have to do.. Works great as a mouse pad doesn't slide and is the perfect thickness. Great value for the money.

Solid and well made. Lays flat when you unroll it from the shipping plastic. Works well with my optical mouse. Size is perfect for my desk and the world map has just enough detail. Only issue and one star nocked off is because of the smell... sort of like burned rubber. I sprayed the back side with Ozium but that didn't seem to help much. Hopefully the smell will dissipate after a few days.

I needed a relatively large pad area and this certainly does cover the space. It has a nice texture, sits flat, and has bound edges. Beware though: the map can be quite distracting. You may find yourself searching the web for places that you've never heard of! (I love this feature!!!) Urumnqi, Yekaterinburg, Martin Vaz, the Kara Sea .... I'm having such fun that my wife wants one, too.
