This label printer has revolutionized operations at my company. We have purchased four of them and use them all the time. We used to go through boxes and boxes of Avery labels, but this setup is faster, easier, cheaper, and better quality. Labels are about 70% cheaper per label than what we were using before, and that's not even counting the toner costs and wasted labels associated with printing full sheets of labels on a standard printer. We'll probably buy a few more of these in the near future, as our team is spread out across the US and we are transitioning them all away from the Avery labels now that we've discovered this game-changing solution.

This printer is wonderful for making self-adhesive water-resistant shipping labels.It comes with a little starter roll of thermal label paper, and the cables shown in my photo. It also stores the roll of paper neatly inside making it easier to move the printer around my small workspace while keeping everything together.To use the bluetooth capability, you must use the companion app. To use it with a computer, you must use a USB cable (included). So I took a star off for that minor inconvenience as all of my other printers can use wifi/AirPrint and do not require any special apps.That said, the app is pretty easy to figure out and connects seamlessly to the printer. It allows for text, shapes, images, etc. though I’d stick to an inkjet or laser for photos or small, detailed items. It really shines with text of about 8 pt. and above along with barcodes and the like.The best features of the printer are ease of set up, lightning fast print speed, and never needing to buy ink or toner!(Side note: thermal prints tend to be ruined by exposure to heat, and certain chemicals like rubbing alcohol/hand sanitizer - make sure your use case avoids these things.)

Its the first label printer that never gives me a single problem. Others are pink and look cute but let me tell you, it is not worth it! Firstly, having the price difference be $30 is notably irritating.Next: The first time I ordered it was broken. Amazon was awesome, and replaced it and we got the replacement 2 days later! And, great news, the replacement works!!!!!The observation worth sharing with everyone about the broken one and their design, is that they have a clip lock on the cover on both sides. This clip lock clearly is not very durable. One of them is what broke on our first one. I would say this should be more durable.Another observation, and many people have commented on this, is that the unit was hard to setup with bluetooth. Why? Well a big part of this is that the unit DOES NOT HAVE A BLUETOOTH PAIRING BUTTON. I would say that this is a huge drawback. The instructions really do not say much on how to pair it! So here is what we did:1. Windows 10/11, Open Bluetooth menu2. Choose to add a Keyboard, Mouse, Pen, and other compatible devices,3. The model shows up as D520BT4. Pair to it, it does not challenge you, it just pairs..... done....5. Install their software from the phomemo website: https://phomemo.com/pages/driversNOTE: The printer has a website on it, and the supplied booklet has a DIFFERENT website on it.************WARNING: the WWW.OMEZIZY.COM on the label on the printer (see the photos) takes you to a website where the "so called drivers" try to install device drivers that MICROSOFT WINDOWS BLOCKS AND WARNS IT MAY BE MALICIOUS SOFTWARE!!!!! SO DO NOT INSTALL THESE DRIVERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Also, the printer paper they provide is basically a SAMPLE ROLL... you get maybe 25? So be sure to get paper ASAP.Overall it works, but Im beyond annoyed that they are giving customers two different (and incorrect) locations to get the drivers, and worse, those drivers aren't compliant/safe with Microsofts certification of drivers on their operating system.
