A good quality cable that does make a difference
I am a sceptic of those advocating expensive cables as snake oil. However I do believe that good cables (not necessarily expensive ones) make a big difference. (Quality connectors and a large cross section, with high purity copper)This is a prime example of a good cable. I have recently upgraded my hifi. Most sources to my AVR are either HDMI or Optical, however I also have a musiccast device feeding an analogue signal with Deezer HiFi as the source. As my new gear was substantially better I thought I should probably upgrade the cable from my musiccast as that is purely stereo (bi-amped). I have done a comparison between the cable that came with it (a cheap, shoelace cable) that I was using before and this one and it has made quite a large difference.Definitely worth the upgrade.

Quite Bright
I got these to replace some very old studio leads I had from the 90's, for no other reason than I made the leads a long time ago and couldn't remember how good the cable was. My first impression of the QED was that it was quite harsh and the top end seemed very bright. The bass was still there and seemed more controlled / less boomy. It was the mid range that really shone through creating a much better sound stage. My initial impression of being over bright had changed after a few weeks of listening, I am now of the opinion that the top end was muted with my old cables, I would say they where warm and slightly dead in comparison to the QED. I would recommend these cables if you like a nice clean and balanced sound without breaking the bank.

These are good informative interconnects
These are good informative interconnects. I bought them initially to link between a quad 99 pre-amp and a quad 99 cdp2. whilst the performance was good between the two there was no marked advantage over the supplied quadlink. As a backup I used them between the pre-amp and a Denon DAB tuner where the results are equally as impressive. For the money I suspect they are difficult to beat so a good recommendation is deserved.

Well worth the money - really improved the performance
I was a hi-fi cable sceptic. I have moderate-quality kit and spent most of my budget on the speakers. I teamed it with the cheapest inter-connect cables that one can find. Although the sound was fine, it didn't sound as fantastic as I expected from the upgrade.Upon advice from my brother I decided to buy some cables. He recommended silver but my purse cannot stretch to that so I went for these. I lined up my wife too to do a sound test. To our joint amazement the new QED cables made a significant improvement. For £20 they are a steal. Recommended.

Hits my sweet spot for price & quality
I'm not a big believer in the massive claims of cable effect on sound, but I'll generally put something on hifi kit other than the "black string" you get in the box. These are - for me - about perfect. Quite nicely made and look good, sound fine (i.e. just as good as when I demo'd my rig in the shop with mega-cables) and "pocket money" price.

Sturdy, look good, but no difference in sound quality to cables costing a few pound
Looks good, and very robust, but definitely no difference in sound quality to a cheap cable. As such the item is great if you will be unplugging/moving the cables a lot but a waste of money for a permanent set up.

Good cables, robust built
Good cables, robust built. Did exactly what it was described in the decription (URL) page. I believe the price is also right. Easy to use, although if you would like to follow the exact instructions and connect them with the direction away from the source (e.g. from CD, DVD, Blu-Ray to the amplifier) you need to carefully look for the arrows printed on them.

Good Quality QED Interconnects
Good quality interconnects. I purchased several sets to connect the transport systems and amplifiers of a couple of Pioneer reel-to-reel tape decks that I have. Well packaged. My only criticism is that these are directional cables and the arrowhead pointers showing which end on the cables should be connected to the signal source are printed in a dark red colour and these I found difficult to make out against the similar coloured outer insulation of the cable. Perhaps its my poor eyesight!
