I recently upgraded to the Oral-B iO Deep Clean Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush and I have to say, it’s a game changer for my oral care routine.Pros:Effective Cleaning Performance: The deep clean function on this toothbrush really stands out. The brushing power is strong yet gentle, and I noticed a significant difference in the cleanliness of my teeth after just a few uses. My teeth feel smoother and cleaner compared to my previous toothbrush. The brush heads are high-quality, providing a thorough clean while being gentle on gums.Pressure Sensor: The pressure sensor feature is a fantastic addition! It lights up if you’re brushing too hard, which is really helpful to avoid damaging your gums. It provides a gentle reminder to use the right amount of pressure, which I appreciate because I tend to press too hard with regular brushes.3 Cleaning Settings: I love the versatility with the 3 cleaning modes—Daily Clean, Sensitive, and Deep Clean. I’ve used Oral B tooth brushes for over twenty years, and when the one I’ve been using for the last 10 finally died, I bought another without any thought or research at all. I was surprised to find this toothbrush had new features that have made a big difference to what had been successful but hit and miss oral care. The new brush signals with a quick brush pulse when 30 seconds has passed, increasing the number of pulses with each 30 second segment, signaling with four quick pulses when two minutes has expired. Then, when the brush is turned off (after two minutes) I’m rewarded with a full spectrum light show.I seldom did the recommended two minute brush with my old Oral B, but I have been motivated by this simple feedback and reward system to spend two or more minutes every time I brush. I also like the fact that if I have to turn it off briefly, it doesn’t reset to the beginning, but keeps track of where I am in the two minute cycle. It also alerts me after I’ve used the same brush for three months, so I can replace it if I choose.

3/21/2025 | Purchased January 2025I finally decided to get an electric toothbrush because I noticed that my teeth didn't feel clean even after brushing with proper technique. I also got the one with the travel case because I live in a dorm. I appreciate that it came with two brush heads. They were supposed to be different kinds but mine were the same. I also like the pressure sensor and timer buzzes, there are four in 30 second intervals with a different buzz pattern after the fourth interval to let you know that you are done. I did switch from brushing in six sections (inside, top and outside surfaces of top and bottom teeth) to four quadrants. This toothbrush also makes brushing my teeth feel like less of a task, so I do it more consistently. I used to struggle to brush my teeth because it felt like it to so much energy (I have depression). After using it for a little less than three months, I can say that I do recommend it because my teeth feel so clean, I've been using the sensitive setting, so it doesn't irritate my gums. I have noticed that the head has gotten significantly louder since I've been using it, I'm due to change it at the beginning of April (every 3 months). Overall, I like it. I did register the product on their website for the warranty.
