Mesh Screen with Magnetic Closure-Keeps Bugs Out Let Breeze in, Heavy Duty - Pet and Kid Friendly, Works with Front, Sliding Doors (38 x 82 Inch)

I had tried a black one before but the colors clashed with the white sliding door and it did not work for me.I'm SO glad I went for the white because even more light is allowed to come in making my kitchen brighter, breezy and my dog comes in and out without those pesky bugs.Previously my dog hated the sliding door being closed so she was smart enough to open it and it was a constant battle at home with the door open and bugs coming in. Now I'm loving that we're all happy!The only 2 negative things are:1) my metal door frame catches the magnets so it also stays open more than closed when my dog goes inside the house, but a quick "kick" snaps the mesh door closed again.2) I didn't feel like i had enough thumb tracks to properly secure it to the wooden frame because I really did not trust the velcro it came with. But I had some from the dollar store that did the trick. The thumb tacks it came with are great quality and the gold matched nicely with the white! Now it's securely fastened and I'm expecting it to last a long time for me!Yes, I'd recommend!

This thing is great. I have a sliding glass door that I wasn’t sure what to do about not having a screen door. My dog loves to go in and out but without a screen, so many bugs were getting in. This product was a great solution for just that. It was super easy to install and has been pretty durable. My dog has easily gotten used to how to go through the magnetic closure. And the adhesive to the door is pretty strong. I put my dog out on the porch and closed the door while I was cleaning a mess and she threw a tantrum and was biting and pulling at the screen- it stayed put and she didn't even rip it.

Measure twice, buy once.You are going to be installing this via 1" Velcro strip adhered to the frame of your door. So measure the frame of your door, not the door, and buy the right one. Assume you have 1/4" tolerance. Also fromt he instructions, dont use this product with a steel door, because the magnets will stick to it.If you do the above, and install via the included (terribly translated) instructions, it will install properly in about 15 minutes. Hanging it requires a 2nd pair of hands for about 30 seconds.

This was surprisingly very simple to install and the adhesive worked much better than I anticipated. It's been staying up with no issues this whole time. It is a bit wider and longer than advertised, but that ended up working in my favor because when I stretched it out as far as it would go, the magnets weren't attaching as well. Despite all of this, it's a simple fix for having a screen to let airflow in without welcoming bugs and other guests. While it doesn't fully close every time on it's own, it's still easier to ensure the seal compared to dealing with my old screen door that wouldn't slide easily.

I bought this screen hoping to use it in an unusual way. We are camping and we have a side room tent that attaches to out trailer. Well, the zipper on the screen door is busted. So I was hoping this would work. I cleaned the tent surface well and let it dry well. We were amazed when the velcro stuck to the tent fabric! The rest of the trip will be bug free!

SO WORTH THE MONEY. I recently started fostering a 6-7lb chihuahua. My other dog (~70lbs) had no problem using the doggy doors on internal and external doors of my mudroom. We have heavier doggy door flaps to keep the cold out, but my chihuahua is too small and light to use them. I ordered this screen for the mudroom door that opens to the rest of my place, that way I can just leave the door leads to my yard open, allowing a wonderful breeze without any flies. Both my dogs can very easily get through the screen. I used safety pins to hold up the ~3inches of excess at the bottom of the screen and it’s works really well. I actually put the safety pins through the tiny holes in the screen, avoiding any damage at all. The magnets are PERFECT. They close right after either of my dogs or I pass through. And it took all of ten minutes to put up the screen, including the time I allowed the door frame to dry after spraying it down with Lysol to clean before attaching the Velcro tape. I decided to block the magnets at the very bottom of the screen to allow for the tiniest opening for my dogs to put their nose through to help them open up the screen (see picture). This is only temporary to help them gain confidence. They can definitely open up the screen without this opening at the bottom. Anyone that has dogs and is wondering if this will be a useful tool or replacement for a traditional doggy door, take the risk! Order this screen! You won’t regret it. Will update this review if this screen suddenly stops working for some reason…

With having 4 dogs that want in and out throughout the day, this has helped us so much. This is on our backyard door, and also gives us the chance to enjoy the weather without flying insects getting in the house constantly and driving us nuts. We have a small tear or two from the dogs near the bottom, but it still makes a difference. The velcro and the magnets are strong. I take it down every fall, so this is our 2nd year with it. Love it!

This has been so handy for being able to go in and out frequently while keeping flies out of the house. The dog loves it. We grill in the deck a lot and it’s nice to go in and out hands free when carrying food etc.If you are tall with wide shoulders, you have to turn sideways to go through it which may be a minor inconvenience for some people.
