Great deal with lots of features
I chose refurbished condition with a 3 year warranty on this 40mm watch 4 to save some money and get most of the features that are available, and all of them that I need.I chose the 40 mm watch because I have a skinny wrist and wanted something to track my sleep with that I wouldn't notice on my wrist throughout the night. The battery life is as expected for the size. I have to charge it in the morning and at night in order to do health tracking in the day with walks and biking, and sleep tracking each night. Although since it is new, I have been installing a bunch of apps and playing with the watch faces a lot. Maybe once I have gotten used to it after a while, the battery life will improve some. I keep battery saving on, and am playing with macrodroid and tasker to better automate modes and improve battery life with this usage. The blood oxygen reading is possibly not always accurate because it needs your arm in an elevated position to get a good reading, and I use it primarily at night to help detect suspected sleep apnea episodes. There are gaps in the sleep tracking too, and I have the watch tight on my wrist. But overall, it tracks the majority of my sleep, and I am impressed by it.I got the LTE version so I could do numbersync with ATT. Be aware that if you intend to use this feature, currently you have to activate the watch and pay $10/month for its own plan, and I have the unlimited Extra plan. I have not done this yet to provide any feedback on its usability.I am glad I got the wifi version for faster transfer speeds instead of Bluetooth only. The watch packaging is pretty basic. You get the watch and a generic band and generic charger. Both work just fine, just know that it won't be in the original box. I didn't care because I always just throw that stuff away right as soon as I get it.The charging takes 1.5 to 2 hours to full charge. Don't use it a bunch when it charges or you will get an overheating error. When you first get it, you will likely have no battery, and it takes a while to get it up to full operational speed due to numerous updates that will likely download and install. Also the battery life really sucks the first 2 days because of this.Overall though, I recommend this if you have scrawny wrists like me, don't want to spend a fortune, and don't mind the smaller battery. Good watch in great condition. Get the glass screen protector for it. Nice and thin and might save you some hassle if you are rough with things like me. Hope this helps.

Battery life
First of all, I love using my watch and it is extremely helpful in my everyday life. From checking simple notifications, to keeping track of time, and replying back to text messages while I'm driving, this watch is amazing.I only have one issue with the watch. When i first got it and set the watch up, I noticed that it was using an extensive amount of battery power, when I wasn't physically using the apps on the watch. I did some checking in the settings and watch preferences using the galaxy wearable app on my A42, and I discovered that the watch was automatically creating workout routines, taking my blood and oxygen levels every 5 minutes, and a bunch of extra health and fitness widgets and apps that I didn't need.Once I turned all of the extra monitors off, the battery life increased to 1 day and 23 hours.I've read a lot of the reviews fro the used version of this watch, and reviews from the SAMSUNG website about this watch having poor battery life. I think that people just don't know how to configure their devices properly.I would buy this used/renewed version of this watch again if my watch broke, and I would refer this to anyone looking for a watch that has a SAMSUNG phone.

Perfect for the average person
This is worth the buy if all your looking for is to be able to track your health and call/text from your watch. The main issue I have is battery life, it barely gets through 8 hours of light use. Have to charge every night. The apps for the watch a great and the customization the wall paper and overall theme is great. Couldn't really ask for more from this watch

Watch works good, but battery last about 12 hours
Watch works good, but battery last about 12 hours, can answer phone calls with the watch and many more functions, good device but Samsung need to make a very battery or make it less power hungry.

Battery dies after one day of use.
The battery dies after one day of use. I am not at all happy with the watch. I have tried keeping it in battery save mode and it still doesn't hold a charge more than a day.

GREAT SECURITY FOR US OLD FOLKS
I purchased GALAXY 3 WATCH A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO AND WAS READY FOR AN UPDATE. I WANTED SOMETHING THAT I COILD CALL FOR HELP IF I NEEDED IT. THE IDEA OF THE NECKLACE THAT IS ADVERTISED DIDN'T APPEAL TO ME. I ORIGINALLY ORFERED ONE WITH A LARGER KEYBOARD AND IT LOOKED GREAT. ONCE I TRIED TO GET IT CONNECTED TO MY PHONE SERVICE AND RECEIVED 20 PAGES OF INSTRUCTIONS I DID A RETURN REQUEST. I DECIDED TO TRY THE GALAXY 4 WATCH AND ORDERED THE REFURBISHED ONE IN STOCK. IT LOOKS LIKE NEW AND WAS EASY TO SET UP. I LIKE THE PRICE AND GALAXY PRODUCTS ARE PRETTY EASY TO SET UP AND OPERATE. I WOULD BUY IT AGAIN.

Awesome product!
My son recommended this watch because I was using a fall detection device that would go off even if I just moved my arm quickly. I hated that thing. I love the features on this watch. It has almost exactly the same features my Fitbit had with a few added ones like fall detector. I'm old and at home risk for falling so I needed something that wouldn't go off at the drop of a hat. I only wanted something to go off when I actually fell. This watch does that. It charges quickly. I wish it would just stay charged longer.
