direct replacement, definitely works well for the 2002-2009 Trailblazer/Envoy/Bravada/Isuzu Ascender/Saab 97-X/Ranier (I've bought this twice, one for my 07' Trailblazer and one for my 05' Envoy SLT) cheaper than buying the whole part, (with faux leather cover) and much more successful than picking one out of a junkyard. (since this is one of the first parts to be picked, if salvageable) and more economical since the majority of Junkyards in my area won't sell just the cover, but would sell the full center console.

I wish they offered the correct gray color. I had to settle on the black. I had to reuse the original hinge as the one that came with this arm rest pushed the cover to far forward to latch. I had to completely disassemble both arm rests to swap the hinge over
