A great TV at a great price.
After reading several reviews both on Amazon and elsewhere, I deceided to purchase this TV. I was a little worried about having a TV of this size mailed / delivered to my house. My fears were unjustified. I scheduled the delivery through Amazon and everything went as planned. The delivery showed up at the exact time they said it would. Two Amazon employees had it off the truck and in my living room within a matter of minutes. The box was in perfect shape and showed that it had been handled with care. There were no holes, tears, dents, or rattles inside. It took about an hour to mount the TV on my living room wall. The setup was quick and easy. Samsung really made it simple with onscreen prompts. The picture is beautiful just using the factory settings. I downsized to this 65" screen from a Viseo 70" TV. Can hardly tell the difference in size. I chose not to upgrade to the 75" Samsung model because I could not justify spending an additional $900.00 for 10 more inches. The TV processor is fast. The apps come up quickly and scrolling through is smooth and seamless. The remote is great. Seems minimal at first but it has everything that is needed without lots of distracting buttons.I have no complaints with this TV. I paired this with a small soundbar from Samsung (T-400), again had everything connected in minutes. The built in TV speakers sounded great and would have been perfect for a smaller room. I highly reccomend this TV for anyone looking for a QLED display. Be sure to stick with the Q-80 series of this model, you get a lot of features for only a little more than the Q-60 or Q-70 series.UPDATE 11/4/21I have had this TV for 6 months with no issues. The only thing I can complain about is that the remote has a built in battery that can't be replaced. It is designed to be charged by the photo cell on the back so you must get use to storing the remote with the photo cell up. It also has and input connector to charge via USB cable. I purchased the cable and the remote charges quickly. Would have been nice if the cable came with the remote! Definitly buy the cable, it should only cost a few dollars on Amazon. My TV came with a protective film on the screen. It was obvious that it need to be removed before using. Not sure why there are so many issues with this.I am very happy with this TV. It has worked out well for me and my family.

I'm Impressed
This review is for the 65" Samsung Q80 QLEDOrdering: At checkout you can select "leave on porch" or "In person delivery." I chose the first option and scheduled a date and time range. Stayed home that day but no delivery. It finally came a week late. Two people left it on my porch.Unboxing: I would suggest not doing this in the middle of a room but by a wall or couch so it can't tip over. Cut the straps and lift the top part of the box off the tv. The base of the box remains on the floor. You must have a helper. Lay the set down on a table or bed to install the included base or your wall mounting bracket.Setup: I used the included base which I drilled in the corners and screwed it into my base cabinet. Otherwise it is recommended to tether the set to the wall with a cable so it won't fall over. Supposedly you can use your phone to sign into all your streaming accounts however my two year old Samsung phone was not compatible. No problem, just spend a half hour using the remote and navigating a virtual keyboard. The picture: WOW! This set replaced a 55" plasma tv. This picture is bright and the detail is amazing. Sports, movies and tv shows all look terrific. The blacks are black. I have not noticed any backlight bleeding through that others have commented on. The set did a firmware check as soon as it connected to the internet. It was up to date out of the box.The remote: This has a solar cell on the reverse side to recharge its battery but it came well charged. It has dedicated Netflix and Primne buttons. Navigation is intuitive and is easy to figure out. I have not tried the voice navigation. I have a home theater amplifier hooked up to the tv with a HDMI cable and the remote volume button controls the amplifier. In fact the amp turns on and off by turning off the tv.More: During setup Netflix asked if I wanted to upgrade my service to higher resolution for $6 more a month. Yes. I have a home theater computer and a blu-ray player plugged into the tv's HDMI ports. The tv recognizes these inputs and they work flawlessly. Of course Blu-ray is only 2K res. I am very happy with this purchase and recommend this tv.
