I bought this book so I could incorporate some "art therapy" into my journaling.I've been journaling daily for about a year and a half. To continue making this practice fresh and rewarding, I like to challenge myself. Whether it's 30 days of gratitude, noting weather patterns or practicing cursive, there are so many fun ideas!I have always loved the look of adorable Kawaii art. Why not learn this for myself? What better way to do so than to draw one a day, for a whole year.This book breaks down how the character is made, step-by-step and even includes how to shade to add dimension on the completed drawing. Lovely!I have been doing this daily in my journal for over 3 weeks, and looking back at earlier attempts, I can see REAL improvement.This book would be great for folks of all ages and abilities, and is so welcoming and fun :)

My daughter loves drawing and loves Kawaii! I thought we’d do one a day for the whole year, but it’s not working out that way 😂. Such a cute book, easy to follow instructions on how to draw, and even I, who’s not artistic, have drawn some super cute kawaii fruits! I would buy this as a gift and would recommend 100% if you want to learn to draw cute little Kawaii or for your children who want to get better and learn more about drawing Kawaii.

This is my go to reference book for everything Kawaii. Clean, simple, how to draw designs.

A lot of options- very thick book. Great value

Tons of content to choose from, very simple to follow. If you want a easy basic reference this will be great for you as is.For me, I would have like more grid/guide lines and base shapes. I drew them in using a ruler and a multi-circle template because my hands shake too much for straight lines and nice circles. Also, using this method and these tools allows me to produce more drawings more quickly.

My kids love these! They have so many options, and I do like how it is organized. Only thing I wish was added was an index, but you can’t always have everything! Definitely a great purchase, and I hope they come out with more, maybe a chibi book. Highly recommend for budding artists of all ages!
