LipidoCare is really good
It's really good. I've had issues with Lo, but that's because my triglycerides were below the minimum range (45) for the machine to actually work.

Unreliable product.
This home test kit is very inaccurate. I compared my test result with my hospital test result the difference is 30% roughly.Home test total cholesterol = 6Hospital total cholesterol = 8I have had 2 hospital test and several home test. The results were very inaccurate. I contacted the manufacturer but they did not reply. As such I do not recommend this product to anyone.

Beware expiry date and read all the possible error messages before you start
I have bought this product 3 times and there is an ongoing problem with short expiry dates (the device will not record a result if the strip has expired). After getting caught out badly last time, I mailed the supplier about the expiry date; it took 3 emails before they would give me an actual date. I have just tried to use one - it says the unit is too cold - it turns out that if the temperature of the unit falls below 18˚C the device returns an error message - but not until after you have used the strip. There are many, many ways to go wrong - I estimate that I get a result from about half the strips I buy which makes it much more expensive than I expected. I have clearly not been sufficiently careful in my reading of the instructions but it is disappointing to find new ways of wasting tests after so long. The user manual has 42 pages - I would advise anyone buying this product to read them all.

Great for home testing
A little pricey, but certainly better than having to go all the time to the local chemist or doctors.I've been monitoring my LDL now for a while and seeing positive results as I can clearly map what's going on with these strips. Seem pretty consistent in the results, and I think for home use are definitely of benefit to those wanting to keep their levels in check.

Short expiry date; had to return; suggest contacting seller before purchase
The lipid strips are fine but beware the expiry date. The ones I received only had 6 months left before expiry despite being manufactured over a year earlier (both the manufacture date and expiry date are on the packet). 10 strips in 6 months is most likely more testing than most individuals want so if buying for personal use I suggest contacting the seller before placing an order to check the expiry date.
