Great Unit for Quilt Guild Organizational Meetings
This unit was purchased for a local quilters' guild. It is great and exceeded our expectations. I also purchased a second microphone and it has made a world of difference for our presenters.

It's loud enough to easily overpower a loud acoustic guitar
I just purchased this less than a week ago and it just arrived yesterday. I want to use it for busking, so I needed something that was able to be used anywhere yet something that wasn't too big and heavy, yet more than anything it needed to be LOUD. Even after reading about speakers to figure out what amps to use for singing I was shooting in the dark. I didn't need something too complicated, and I didn't want to spend more than $200 or I wanted something extra. My biggest worry was about the size of the amp. I could not find any reliable pictures, so the main point of this post is to show you how big it is, relative to a pro size basketball. I want to carry it on my back, and it's not as heavy and unruly for an average size man with decent muscle mass. I was worried I had overshot the size and weight limits in my passion for loudness, but with a bigger/makeshift backpack I know I can make it happen. I've actually tried it (successfully) with the backpack in the picture, was able to walk while had the mic positioned right below my mouth. So far I'm super enthusiastic because I really felt like I was taking a risk on this one.Mic worked as soon as I put batteries in and turned it on, I thought I was going to need expensive mics to get the sound and volume I wanted. As long as I am singing in tune I have nothing to worry about in terms of people hearing me sing and play away. It's great because I don't have to strain, meaning I can sing for hours if I want to (and need to, aka practice).I have no idea how the battery will do, so far so good. It took quite a few hours longer than the max time given to initially charge, I was afraid at first but when I came back from work it stopped blinking red.I am very satisfied with the product so far, assume all is well if you don't see this review changed.

I wanted to hate this thing…but
It did great for living room karaoke. We’ve since upgraded to a Bose but this was actually worth every penny

Great sounding PA and Pyle quickly addressed my issue
This was a difficult review to write because this little PA actually sounds fantastic! I love the full range speaker and the echo makes my voice sound like heaven! But like many other reviews that I've read this PA unexpectedly starts making a loud staticky crackling sound. Sometimes after turning it on and off it will quit but during a live performance it's quite annoying to say the least. (But I've noticed if I only run vocals through it, without my guitar, it doesn't make that sound. But most people want to do karaoke or at least play guitar with the vocals)So I reached out to Pyle and they promptly sent me a replacement pa! Even though it was a different little PA unit ( Pyle PWMA899A. This one has worked without any problems so far but it only has one microphone input and no input for my guitar. But it comes with two remote microphones that are decent quality. This little PA appears to be all about a karaoke as it also has a UBS and auxiliary input for music. So if you're into karaoke I recommend this one) . I'm still bummed that the original PA couldn't be fixed because it really does sound great. The replacement PA has a little less power and is a little more muddy even though it has a mid-range and tweeter. This PA has a great sound as the full range speaker sounds great!Hope this review helps

works good on a keyboard/synth in a small-medium size area, not a ball room
My wife has a Technics 7000 Keyboard with built in Rhythm & drums also she can output all the base / rhythm to a separate speaker. This worked well, excellent drum & base sounds. Note: no chance on earth that this is a 400 watt system, it runs on a 12V & 6A, battery when not on AC, that means it is a 12v DC amplifier, it would be lucky to pump 50 ± Watts in reality. The paperwork is mucked up, as the specs are not exactly the same as the unit I received and the Battery is not the same as far as AMP HR Ratings listed in the manual, I was able to get a slightly larger battery for it. It's fine for a area like 2k-3k square ft. The Bluetooth seemed to pair easy and work from her cell phone. The included wireless mic is fine for a child but not a real musician. Good for a first amp, plenty of inputs, very portable, with wheels and extending handle. Mechanically solid not cheap plastic.
