I have been looking for something like this for a long time.
Not easy to use but with practice gives an accurate bevel on a curved gouge. I found I had to shorten the locking spindle on the fixed end to accommodate the larger width chisels. Can also be used for flat chisels with care.

No good to me
I bought this as I thought it would help sharpen my wood carving chisels. However it no good for my Pfeil small V groove or half round carving chisels as the shanks on them is too short. May be ok for longer carving gouges & V groove but I don't have any of those.

Don't waste your time.
Superfamily delivery is the only good thing about this product. Its too small, it doesn't hold the gouges securely allowing them to move about and it's far too small for the job. A great concept but badly under engineered. Made bigger and of billet aluminium I think it could be an asset but as is? It's a waste of money!

A little flimsy
A little flimsy, but appears to do the job. I expected something a little more sturdy

No sizing in the description so buyer beware
Far too small for the chisels I use, no indication of actual size in advert. Title now says "carving chisels" which presumably means "tiny". Also best of luck turning the smooth and very small tightening wheel whilst holding a chisel at the right depth and alignment. Not a well thought out product.

chisel sharpening jig
only good enough maybe for very small carving chisels its hard to get the fastener to grip the chisels properly would I buy again not unless vastly improved

VERY difficult to use
very difficult to use - thread holding the gouge does not tighten securely enough to hold it firm - so setting anglethat does not move is nearly impossible
