Fun for 4&6 year old.
This is a fun game that we are able to play comfortably with our 4 and 6 year old. It’s a fun and simple concept that seems to hold their attention. I also love that we can subliminally work on counting as we play. The one thing I don’t love is as you travel up the board in a zig zag pattern, we all seem to eventually end up going backwards by accident since there is not a lot of definition in the rows. I know there are numbers which should eliminate the problem but I wish each alternating row was a different color as a second reminder of which direction you should be traveling.

Perfect first board game
It’s a classic. This game was around when I was a kid, and now I get to play with my preschooler. Your kid will basically only need to understand how to count the spaces, or have your help doing so, and understand the basic concept of going up the ladder or down the chute. It is a perfect first board game for kids, along with candy land! It comes with the board and 4 characters with stands, which is all you need. There won’t be a million tiny pieces floating around your living room, thank you very much.

Perfect First Board Game for My Nephew
Chutes and Ladders is a classic for a reason. My nephew just got into board games, and this was the perfect first pick. He caught on immediately, and it was hilarious watching him celebrate every ladder climb and dramatically sigh every time he hit a chute. The game is straightforward and fun, making it ideal for young kids just starting out. It’s also surprisingly entertaining for adults—it definitely kept us all engaged. My nephew keeps pulling it off the shelf for another round, so I’d say it’s a winner. Great for introducing kids to board games without overcomplicating things.

5 year old approved
This is a really fun game! Beware that it’s also never ending lol but fun. Our 5 year old has a lot of fun with it and seeing where all the chutes and ladders go.

Fun Game
Good game but my four year old granddaughter took a bit of time to get the hang of how to move on the board. Good game to help teach bring a good sport.

Great fun for little ones
Similar to Candy land but a better game design, uses a spinner for game play rather than having to shuffle the thick cards as with Candy land. Otherwise it is a similar game. Lots of fun for children.
