First, let me say that I am not new to adaptogenic herbs. I know that they work for me and make me feel good. I'm working on healing my thyroid and was diagnosed with severe PTSD a couple of years ago. Stress: I has it. ;) This being said, I am always looking for powerhouse solutions that will help to support my overall mental health and sense of well-being, while helping me to have the get up and go that I need to raise my kids well, work full-time and pursue creative endeavors. I was skeptical about this blend being able to lend me the energy and stamina that my trustworthy morning (and sometimes afternoon) coffee usually does and I also found it hard to believe, as other reviewers have mentioned, that I would notice a difference so quickly. I've been drinking this Cacao Rasa for a couple of days and as much as I don't want to admit it, I've noticed a marked difference in how I feel. I have not had coffee this last three days. No joke. Cold turkey! This stuff has given me consistent energy. I'm not jittery. It has helped me to focus and feel more at ease. I have even felt more cheerful. Let me say this again for the people in the back: plenty of consistent energy and focus, with no headaches or side effects, while I come off of a long-time addiction to coffee. I add French Vanilla unsweetened almond/coconut cream based creamer (Nutpods) and it's DELICIOUS, though it's also really great without creamer. I have not tried the Original or the Dirty Rasa, but will absolutely be ordering those as well. The chocolatey flavor and aroma of the Cacao Rasa is out of this world. It's really good. Don't be turned off by the price for thirty servings. You can re-use each batch of grounds for up to a few days by storing them in the fridge and can always freshen them up with a tablespoon of dry grounds added in. More info about that is available on Rasa's website. I'm sold. I will probably be ordering the larger bags directly from RASA from now on. Of course, if anything changes, I will update my review, but yeah, this stuff is incredible. Try it!

I have to say, I had my initial concerns about adaptogens but I am LOVING my Rasa Koffee!! I bought all three, Original, Cacao, and Dirty. I have noticed increased energy but stable - none of the negative effects of caffeine (jitters, anxiety, sleep disturbances, stomach stuff). I do feel a boost in energy, focus, and healing. For the Original: It is BITTER and I usually cannot stand bitter but I actually really like this. I do add Califia Non-dairy creamer and a little honey. It's still delicious though and has a really wonderful smooth aftertaste. The Cacao: Is my FAVORITE. I still add the creamer but don't need any honey. There's no sugar added or anything but that cocoa flavor is SO wonderful. It also makes your kitchen smell like an absolute dream. The Dirty: I've only used this once because I really do limit my caffeine consumption. It was super delicious as well. I did not add honey to this one, but just some of the aforementioned creamer. All in all, I've been using the product for a week and do feel like it has helped stabilize my mood + my energy levels without any of the negative effects of caffeine. Could not recommend more and while continue to use this product!

I gave Rasa cacao 4 stars for two reasons, and I’ll get to them first. The first reason is the price. It’s too much, Rasa is delicious but I have no idea what drives this price up so much. I appreciate that you can reuse the grounds, but for 3 bucks an oz!? You’d think I was buying a blend of rare herbs, when this is mostly just cacao nibs and dandelion root. The second reason is the packaging. My package tore in a weird place making it unable to seal back up. This seems to be a flaw with the design of the package. I had To use a separate container in order to keep it fresh. With those things out of the way, I’ll get to the good stuff....cacao Rasa is the best coffee alternative I’ve ever had. The flavor is delicious, rich, chocolatey, earthy, Coffee-like, a teeny bit bitter, and the smell Alone is enough to send you to cloud 9. When done in a French press it creates a Rich, caramel colored crema that mimics the satisfying development of crema in a perfectly brewed espresso. The flavor is so close to coffee that even my black coffee purist of a husband loves it! I think it’s delicious with chocolate milk! Tastes just like a coffee shop mocha! The energy it gives is mild compared to coffee but noticeable, no jitters or anxiety! I am nursing and was looking for something I could drink in the morning before my son takes his morning nap, as coffee in my system keeps him awake too! This did the trick, and I am in love with this product! Please make it more affordable! I can’t afford 50 bucks a month for tea!

I really like this product. Yes, it’s a bit pricey, but we Americans (of the USA) are so used to having the price of products subsidized and so then have this habit of not paying the full value for the full value. So, that being said, this is so worth every penny! I had used this product to quite coffee, successfully...I might add. Yes, now I am back on coffee but am dealing with other layers of that addiction. I am going to go back to using this product to transition off coffee again. And just like it claims, “sustained energy”, I did experience that. And I would also like to add that the flavor is sooooo good. And I love how; bonus points, it had me slow down...meaning waiting 15 mins for it to brew, which went so well with this idea of not “doing doing, going going constantly” culture that we find ourselves in. I added using that time for meditation and that was a great decision. I am healing my adrenals from abuse from coffee, the stress culture and also currently being in Menopause, so I am going to use this product again to support that by transitioning off of coffee for good and supporting my body with the pleasure and medicine of the Cacao and the lovely adaptogenic herbs too!
