Perfect book for my train loving ten year old.Not just pictures to color but full of facts about all different trains.

Good buy. My 3yr old loves this. All Dover coloring books are nice. No gray scale and can use with crayons. Bonus, each page gives a paragraph of info on each train.

I like trains and cars, and I also have experienced Bruce's work (Classic Cars, Cars of the Fifties, American Muscle Cars) so whe I saw that he authored this work, I knew that I would enjoy it.The pictures are detailed -- especially the steam engines. Bruce took time to get the valve work and driving rods right. There was an ocassional gaffe, but those were easy to overlook when considered in the total context of an excellent work.If you are an adult, if you like trains, and if you like to color, this is a book for you.

Purchased for 3 year old train fanatic. He loves the book because it's full of trains but it's very detailed and difficult for him to color. It would probably be difficult for anyone to color while using crayons, so this one might be a better buy for the older train lover. Great pictures and loaded with train information.

My 5yo son loves it. Great variety of real-life trains he recognizes. All ages can enjoy this.

Nice, historical train coloring book. Colored pencils recommended. The kid I gave it to loved it and that is all that really matters.

My 6 year old is autistic and loves to color. He loves intricate things. I found this book and he colors in it all the time.

I got this for my 5 yr old grandson, who is really into trains. He loved the realistic pictures with the great details. Much nicer than the "cartoon" type drawings in many children's coloring books.

Wonderful colouring book. Very informative. I enjoy colouring this type of book that gives you information on the subject, or books that contain a story to be coloured. So much better than others, and the price doesn't hurt. This is the second I have purchased donated the other to a good cause.

I bought this book for my 5 year old son as he loves colouring and trains and finds colouring books aimed at his age range boring. This book has quite complex pictures of trains to colour. The trains range in age from 1890 to modern day. My son loves the challenge of colouring them in and it certainly pushes him. As well as a train to colour on each page there is a good amount of text next to each train telling you the date of the train, who made or designed it, where it is made. The information is quite complex and wordy so not really for my son's age. I would recommend this book for a slightly older child. That said my son fully enjoys colouring the trains in and I enjoy reading about them! Once he has finsihed all the trains it will make a nice book to keep and he will be able to use a reference when he is older. For the price I think it is excellent value for money.

Bought for my adult autistic nephew who enjoys colouring, especially trains. Found this a more mature colouring book with informative information that he really enjoyed. Would recommend.

Quite detailed drawings of a good collection of trains. Mainly American engines but a few from around the world.
