Very cute and well-made. Unfortunately too small for my large breed puppy.

I have an older cat that I bought this for. Thought having on where she steps into it versus having me pull her legs through, would be easier for her. Not so much. She tends to step out before I can get it zippered. Then she can get her legs out of it when walking. I have foster pups, so I'll use it with them if they need one.

Mot well tailored, but i love due to built in harness

I got this for my elderly neighbor's older dog that was just diagnosed with IFDD. She's on crate rest for 2 months and the vet said no more collar walks. She must wear a harness. Since it's winter, I thought a built in "harness" hookup would be ideal for my neighbor. It's hard for her to bend over and fiddle with buckles. The dog can comfortably wear this indoors and easily hook up for a gentle walk.However, if you have a strong dog that pulls or lunges for every squirrel, then I'd skip this as the "harness hookups" are plastic D-rings. Over time those are going to get brittle and wear down given that every leash latch is metal. Metal vs plastic = loose dog. UPDATE: had this for a few months now and it has held up very well. My neighbors dog goes pull but both the sticking and plastic D Rings seem fine. We've ordered other colors now. Her dog is about 20lbs but stubborn so lots of pulling in both directions. I'd still have concerns with a bigger, stronger dog.

This is our second Gooby sweater with two dogs. Too bad I tore the tag off our first one, or I'd have got the size right. The dog in the pics has a measured 19½" chest which is Large in their chart. The bright blue is a Large and too big. The other is a medium. These need to be snug in order for the leash rings to be of use and, in my mind, to properly insulate. If your dog is smooth coated and right between sizes, I'd try the smaller first. Otherwise, it's a good buy.

My dog seems to like the soft feel. Washes well. I hang to dry. Can attach leash directly to it. My dog is a chihuahua, and I never attach her leash to her collar. I either use a harness or this coat. It is great on a chilly day but not freezing out.

My tiny rescue dog really feels the cold, and isn’t used to wearing jumpers or anything that has to go over her head (she panics and fights) so I really needed something with a zip or velcro that she could step into. This was one of the only ones long enough in the back while still being slim enough around the chest (she’s really slim waisted but long-backed and deep chested).Although the “Small” size fits perfectly lengthwise and around the chest, it is a bit baggy from her waist onwards, but it’s not a huge problem and certainly easier than trying to get her into an overhead jumper.Lovely soft fleece that keeps her nice and cosy when it’s cool outside.Only cons are: Hardly any colours in stock in her size (I had to go for burgundy with a bright green (!) zip, and the useful d-rings on the back are plastic and very small (I struggle to get the clasp of her houseline through them). Metal d-rings that are slightly bigger would be an advantage.I will buy another one though, if and when more colours come back instock.

I have a 12 year old Yorkshire Terrier/Jack Russell cross who weighs 7.5 kg. He's quite stock and this medium sized fleece fits him perfectly. It is very much needed for those morning walks when the temperatures are cooler that means us humans need a jacket. One should not be fooled that dogs don't feel the chill simply because they're covered in hair. Mine does feel the chill and I guess as we all age, feel things more keenly. I'd highly recommend this fleece, the quality and design is simply great.
