Jess Smiley has created a book that I wish I'd been able to get my grubby little paws on as a kid. Filled with incredible drawings, easy-to-understand tips, and a hilarious cast of characters doing the teaching, 'Let's Make Comics' is a gem! Primarily intended for youngsters, but a great tool for budding comic artists of any age! Highly recommended!

My daughter loves this book! It teaches the basics of drawing cartoons and how to build small stories. The language is simple, fun, and engaging, making it perfect for young cartoonists to enjoy their creative journey 💙

I am so impressed with this book! I bought this for my son who has ASD. Usually he is only interested in playing video games or reading about video games. He hates writing and rarely draws. This book engaged him wholly. Within minutes of flipping through the pages, my 9 year old son had picked up a pencil and was drawing and writing and laughing. He LOVES this book and I’m so happy he does. I fully recommend this for all children.

It's perfect for the aspiring comic maker or those ready to unleash their creativity! My son's recently become obsessed with creating his own short comics and this has truly inspired so much more creativity and attention to details.
