I was recommended this lamp from my psychiatrist because I get depressed in the winter time and they say it’s because lack of the sun and vitamin D. I did use it for several weeks to a few months and didn’t actually see a difference but don’t feel I got any worse so as far as a rating, I would have to say 50-50.

This energy light box performs exactly as advice. So far it has been helpful with my mood, helping me to shift my body clock to the convention time. Wish I knew about light therapy and had this product sooner.

So this appeal to me because it is a nice sized light therapy light with an attractive wooden stand that would fit into my decor. However, the stand does not fit. It is winter and extremely dry weather....so it cannot be blamed on expansion of the wood. The light needs to stand at an angle so you cannot simply set it on the table without the stand. With much force and strength and very gentle coaxing (which is tough with a light) I was able to get it pushed just enough into the stand to be able to test it out. I have had light therapy lights before and for that purpose this seems very effective. I have only had it on for an hour at this point and can already tell the light is working for treatment of SAD. But I am extremely disappointed that the stand does not fit.

With so many choices for a light therapy lamp, I chose this one because of the slim design so I could fit it on my small desk or night table. It is just the right size, stylish, and more importantly, effective. I turn it on for 20 minutes in the morning while I read my emails and drink my coffee and I feel much perkier and uplifted than before. The sun doesn't come up for an hour after I wake up and most days it is cloudy and gloomy. I used to have a hard time getting up and going but now I have more energy and a better attitude. I recommend this product for anyone who feels down on dark days.

I'm surprised this issue made it through probably 10 stages before releasing it. You can't stand it up vertically or horizontally. Others have made this complaint and it still hasn't been pulled. Its an Amazon product. You should pull it. Its useless. I bought it for clients and embarrassed I had them sent before realizing it.

I was really excited about adding this product to my office. However, once opened I realized the frame doesn’t sit in the stand. The openings on both sides are too small and it just falls over. Kind of disappointing.
