It apparently had been vacuum packed for a while so I aired it out. Out of the package it just felt like 2 sheets sewn together with no filling. After about a week it fluffed out a little. I decided to keep it since the subtle design and color combination is hard to find. After washing and drying in a dryer, it fluffed out even more. I'm glad I kept it.

it is really pretty and nice fabric but when washed the batting clumps up leaving some areas bare. If I had washed prior to return expiring I would have returned it.

I bought this for the twin beds in our guest room. They had been pre-washed and folded nicely in the packaging. They were in perfect condition and they look very nice on the beds.

I think this set is actually prettier in person that what the website shows. I use the quilt as a cover just at the bottom of the bed and it sits on a matelassé coverlet and the shams are just so pretty against the pillows and really brings the whole bed together. For the price, you can find yourself changing up your bedrooms with the seasons.
