Maruchan Ramen Sriracha Chicken, 3.0 Oz, Pack of 24

I read an other review which did not like this. I really think it is great. The way I prepare it is to cook the noodles without the flavor packet, then drain the noodles. Add just a small amount of hot water and the flavor packet. I also use some spicy asian mustard on the side to add a little kick. I have to hold back that I don't eat too much because it is really delicious!!

The ramen is their standard, but the "Sriracha Chicken" flavor packet brought it up a few notches! I used only half a packet, because I don't like too much spice or heat, and thought it was fine (on a scale of 0 to 5, with 0 being no heat, I give it a 2.5; my friend uses the entire packet and gives it a 3). The ramen is so convenient, taking only 3 mins to cook after the water boils! I've added meats, eggs, veggies, etc, and all were great!

Purchase as a gift, and my gifty was excited to try them out. Unique flavor, but was told lacks oofm or much flavor. So, it might be best to use as a base and add items to make better

We use ramen in our house for emergency stores and for if we ever have lower income and need to cut back on expenses. It's got a great level of spice; it's not super-spicy, so my kids will eat it, but it's spicy enough that my husband and I enjoy it. A great price, too, especially for emergency food stores.

the smell of the powder and smell of resulting broth is similar to an extremely bitter medicine.however when tasting the broth the flavor is fine, albiet not very similar to sriracha hot sauce.add a few drops of sesame oil to reduce the awful smell if you are stuck with packs of this flavor.

I gave these a try at a wholesale store a while ago and really liked them. Really solid flavor. It does not smell the best before cooking but it tastes great. Not really spicy or especially fancy but pretty good.

I'm a big fan of Chicken ramen for a quick meal or snack. I always add sriracha to my chicken ramen to add some extra dimension and heat so I thought the Sriracha Chicken flavor would be great for me. This product has none of the tasty, savory, salty flavors from the normal chicken version, and the "sriracha" flavor is really bad. It's somehow tangy and weakly hot, more like a very vinegar forward hot sauce. Granted, sriracha has vinegar, but it's nice and balanced - this spice packet is not balanced at all.Taste is a very subjective thing, so while I really don't like this flavor, you might. But my recommendation with all Maruchan Ramen flavors is it to try to buy a single or a six pack at a local grocery store before committing to a 24pk on Amazon.The whole point of prepackaged ramen is to be fast and convenient, but I wanted to add my favorite ramen upgrades! In almost every ramen I make, I add a splash of soy sauce and a squirt of sriracha. If I'm home, I'll always add about a teaspoon (eyeballed) of sesame oil, which really amps up the fragrance and taste. If I have the time or I'm feeling fancy, I'll quickly stir fry a few mushrooms and onions (scallions are best but I rarely have them) while the water heats and add that with a solid grind of black pepper.Get a small bottle of sesame oil and start adding a drop of that and fresh ground pepper to your ramen and you'll be amazed!
