Great lights, vague instructions but High Quality!
These parts were amazing, felt very high quality and i appreciated the care in packaging. Only gripe was not very detailed instructions, reverted to YouTube simply for the parts of the thermal compound strips. Otherwise the install was smooth and convenient which adapted to my light controller with one plug. Also colors and hue matched almost identical to my existing lights. Really finished off my pc making my ram look as good and perform as it was meant to!

Excellant
I bought these four years ago, with no problems. They look great; I plan on using them on my next build. It is an inexpensive way to have RGB RAM, and easy to install

Works with Gigabyte z390 3 pin drgb header
Removing old heatsinks is 90% of the install. I used a credit card to separate the old ram heatsink. This kit comes with a screw driver and extra screws. Very nice touch. The rgb fusion app (gigabyte z390) does control the lighting and has a few effects to choose from. I imagine the built in controller/remote version will offer more modes. I had to calibrate the lights through gigabytes app. It was simple and only required 3 clicks. The leds are very bright. The diffuser does a good job at 50% brightness and higher. It does start to show the individual bulbs at very low brightness settings. Not sure why anyone would run them that dim though. For $20 its very difficult to find any real complains. Nice product!

LEDs already failing within a few days
I use Corsair's Vengeance RGB Pro on my main gaming PC and love them. However, I needed a solution for my Dual Xeon Linux server, this is where these RGB heatsinks come in. For this server I have ECC DDR4 memory, which you cannot get preinstalled RGBs for. Also since server boards don't have RGB headers I had to purchase ASUS ROG Terminal which I ran the USB cable to my Windows PC right next to it with ASUS's AURA software (there is no Linux version of compatible RGB software that I know of). Although it had added costs, these made a good solution for my specific situation. Initially they worked fine, although you can see each little LED bulb lit up, so you can tell the light is not evenly diffusing properly. But for a $20 product I can't complain much and would give it a 4/5.Until a few days later when I noticed LEDs already starting to fail. This is frustrating cause of all the cable management already done to clean up all the RGB header cables, now I have to look into possibly replacing or finding a new solution completely if these things have a limited life expectancy. For a Linux Server that is meant to be on 24/7/365, it's not promising at all that these things are already showing signs of failure within the first few days.

Worked great for about three months
These worked well with my setup and the timing on them was perfect, no lag during transitions, seen that on a few components. After three months one of the leds went bad and it's the blue circuit. It's not a big deal, but it does make it look a little sloppy now. Would be nice to get a replacement, but it's past the 30 day window. Not sure how long these are supposed to last, but if they are starting to have errors this soon then I hope it's isolated to this one component. I added a photo with the brightness turned down so you can see the bad led. The diffusion on that one bad one is pretty bad, the rest aren't too bad, but my DDR5 mem on my new Asrock Steel Legend looks way better. I'll update this review if anything changes in the next couple of months.

Easy Set Up and Install Great Look
Installed two of these is my Alienware Aurora R13 PC. Since Alienware uses proprietary rgb headers, you need to buy a separate three-pin rgb controller with SATA plug to hook them up from the EZYDIY light kit to an Alienware motherboard SATA header in order to control them. So, I bought the DS Mini ARGB PC Fans Controller Kit for Rainbow Case Fans, PC Rainbow LED Strip (3-pin, 14 key Remote, SATA Power, B Series). That's a long name but short story is this is a great combo. The remote controller allows for various color and intensity settings. don't, know why Alienware didn't put rgb kits on their memory in the first place. They really make the case pop.

Super easy to dress up ram and add a heat spreader
ProsThey are easy to installThey look greatHigh quality heat spreaderYou can fit w next to each other , but it is tightConsWiresThey are a bit tall and could be in the way of a processor coolerDo not work with asus software. It is not detected. I tried a 3rd party software and it did work along with everything else the asus software did not see.Did I say wires ?
