Outdoor applications are no problem for this hermetically sealed (watertight) exciter which can be attached to surfaces outdoors to create speakers out of everyday items. Garage door, boat cabin structures, garden furniture, etc. can all be made to vibrate using this exciter and thus generate sound. A high performance 3M VHB (Very High Bond) adhesive disc allows the DAEX25W-8 to be attached to a wide range of materials without any mechanical support required, and an IP67 rating means it is 100% dust-tight and has been immersed in water to a depth of 1 meter for 1 hour without any liquid entering the exciter chamber. A 68" long integrated cable is included for connection to an amplifier.
