I ordered this mainly to run to my front door, because I didn't want to get a video doorbell or an expensive camera with that capability. I got an aux extension cord and ran it outside, where the endpoint is mounted above the doorbell with nano tape. It works pretty well.

Audio quality and volume is excellent and was honestly pretty surprising. I do wish that the cord connecting to the outside speakers/ microphone was just a little bit longer however I plan to cut and splice my own extension into the cord and that should without a doubt work great. Came with little three in mounting adhesives to keep the intercom from sliding around and came with a pre-installed stainless steel tube to keep the wires nice and clean wherever you install them. There is no initial sounds unless you turn up the volume buttons. Microphone stem is a little bit on the long side however you can easily adjust it to whatever your exact needs are. Couple other ports to plug in your own microphone or speaker system which seems to work good and everything came nicely packaged with a adequately long corded power adapter. You can even install it in a vehicle if you wanted to such as a food truck or an event trailer.

Overall pretty decent. I got this for use on at a convention/cosplay as well as for the haunted house that I volunteer for and this fits well with what I need to use it for,

For the $ seems like a great value. I'll update if things change, but in my initial testing audio is loud and clear, and at the price the build is okay.
