I love how sleek it looks, light weight, but still microwave safe and can hold hot liquids. Do not put in dishwasher only because the lettering might come off. Good that they warn you in the description.

I really like this glass measuring cup, but…There were two notes inside when I got it. The first note said not to put it in the dishwasher because the lettering/numbers would come off that marks cups and ounces and that was very disappointing to me. And the second note said, that there is a high probability that the glass measuring cup would arrive broken due to being shipped and if so contact Customer Service and they gave the contact info. The glass measuring cup looks delicate, and though I like it, I do not think it will last very long because most likely it will get put in the dishwasher with everything else without realizing it because that is just habit. If I had realized that you couldn’t put it in the dishwasher, I would not have ordered it. But having said that I really like it for as long as it will last.

I love this. The shape is easy to see the lines.

I don't know how sturdy this class beaker is but, I love the scientific look of it in my kitchen. I use it for heating up butter in the microwave. It does look delicate and they state in the info that they could get broken in shipping so, that makes me think this is not going to be as sturdy as a pyrex glass measuring cup.

This is a nice looking measuring cup but the glass feels very thin and fragile. In one of the pictures you can see it next to a Pyrex measuring cup (both 2 cups) and you can see how much thinner the glass is. I may use it in a pinch but will be very careful. I will not be baking with the grand kids with this for sure. It is attractive, but says not to wash in the dishwasher because the white lettering could start to fade. I did run it through the dishwasher on the top rack when I got it and it came out fine. I will probably just hand wash in the future after use just to be safe.

As it turns out, this is exactly the measuring cup I needed. I have a Pyrex measuring cup that I've had since the beginning of time, but I wanted a second one for specific uses, and that wasn't as heavy. This one has clear markings for all 3 scales in one place, a handle that is just the right size to make it easy to hold and avoid touching the glass when measuring hot water. It pours without spilling or leaking and I've found that I keep it close at hand when cooking or baking. I used to work as a lab assistant and loved handling beakers and such, so this brings back some memories.They do note in the instructions, not to put this in the dishwasher because the markings will fade if you do, so obviously they're not etched into the glass, they're printed. Just keep this in mind.Highly recommended, just remember to hand wash it.

Update two weeks later. I’ve used this twice. The second time was its last. I started to gently stir the powders for a hot tea drink. Klunk! The bottom fell out. Glass everywhere. Very disappointing. I took a chance. I lost. But I did have a first moment of instant gratification. Not worth it for a single use cup.I love my new borosilicate glass measuring cup. It is easy to measure liquids because of the talk and narrow design.I have not yet done so, but I expect to make use of it as an extra (or only) gravy boat. It pours smoothly and is easy to manage.
