This set of compostable utensils has more forks than spoons or knives, which is great. The cutlery has a smooth texture and is splinter free. It does not hold up to cutting a steak, but works well for about anything else. A good set for the cost.

These set of wooden compostable cutlery is nice and sturdy. I have had no issues eating anything with the forks or the spoons. I have some thick dishes that have broken plastic spoons and forks before but these have held up pretty well. So far I have not noticed any splintering, which is something I was slightly concerned with since I normally get another brand, but so far so good.

I don't normally have a use for disposable utensils but got these for a family member who is going through chemo treatments that give her a metal taste in her mouth. A nurse suggested she try using wooden utensils, rather than stainless, to help alleviate the metal taste. It seems to be working!The price seems reasonable for the amount received. I appreciate that they fit so many pieces into such small packaging!

I am not fond of eating with wooden utensils. These are not bad. They are smooth and no fear of splinters or pokeys. We got these for our frequent outdoor BBQ times. We love to head up the canyon and grill dinner. These work for what we want and need. They are sturdy enough that we are confident with what we are eating that they are not going to break or melt on the grill while pulling off hotdogs. The knives work good for cutting and haven't broken. There are 75 forks and 50 of the other utensils. They are in a nice box for carrying -- tossing in with our picnic supplies. Not only are these 100% Compostable Cutlery Set good for the environment, but they are also a space saving option. The cutlery stacks so well that I was truly surprised by the size of the box they came in.The utensils themselves are smooth and durable.  The bowls on the spoons are not as deep as I would like for some foods.  This, however, would impact the space saving feature that I like.Overall, I am very happy with this compostable cutlery set.

I like these cutlery pieces for several reasons. First, they are compostable. Light wood instead of plastic. Second, they won’t melt or warp in a hot bowl of food or cup of tea. Finally, they are remarkably compact. You can easily pack these in a lunch box, pocket, or purse. Even a picnic basket. They won’t work well for really heavy duty foods. Just right for a potluck, party, or packed lunch. They can be hand washed and re used for some time too, making these an even better value.

I really like this wood cutlery - feels good that I won't be adding as much plastic waste to the landfill. The utensils are a little flatter than plastic ones, but that's to be expected - what's important is that they are functional, comfortable to eat off of, and don't give you splinters. All of these conditions are satisfied and I would happly recommend this cutlery for your next occasion that requires disposables.

All plastic alternative cutlery is not created equal. Sometimes they are so rough one worries about a splinter. Or so dull, they could never cut meat. Or so thin, they bend under a bit of cake. This set is not those. This set is sturdy, sharp enough but not to0 rough, attractive looking and very well packaged. These are a terrific replacement to plastic, they work well, look nice, and they biodegrade!
