This 7-in-1 multiple flash memory card reader supports USB 3.0 SuperSpeed, which means it can theoretically transfer data to/from your flash memory cards at 5Gb/sec. (In practice, you will be limited by the speed rating of your flash memory cards, so some will transfer faster than others.) These days, having USB 3.0 SuperSpeed for a card reader that's going to be used with a computer is a necessity. Some consumer phones won't connect any better than USB 2.0 speeds, but modern computers support USB 3.0, so IMHO that's a necessity.What I like most about this card reader is that, in addition to all the different card formats that it supports, the reader can accept both SD and microSD cards without any size format adapter required, AND it can take two such cards at the same time, so you can transfer between combinations of SD and microSD cards without any adapter and without having to copy the files to an intermediate location. At just under $23 with coupon, this USB 3.0 multiple format card reader is an excellent value, even if you don't need this for Compact Flash, Memory Stick or XD type cards.

With great build quality and an affordable price point. This power house of a card reader might be the right choice for your needs.The build:This unit is surprisingly well manufactured for it's incredibly low price point. With an all aluminum body and rounded edges it looks sleek and modern. All ports are well integrated into the body with no wobble or shifting when inserting or removing any type of card. The usb-C cable is shorter then other brands but does offer a thicker gage of wire and a nice rubber coated protection sleeve. Pros :- Sturdy construction, I feel like I can drop it on the floor without issue.- Wire and USB-C connectors feel high quality- Recognized instantly by my computer and allowed me to transfer videos and photos at high speedCons :- When inserting the MicroSD card, it's not super smooth. It feels like I have to force it in a little bit. It's hard to describe, but I was almost scared to damage my card, it felt like it was going in the wrong slot. Speaking of which, each slot could be better identified.

I like this 7 port SD card reader (USB C)!Build quality is good - the main housing is mostly aluminum and the plastics it uses are rigid and extremely smooth. The cable is made from PVC as is the housing of the plug. Both ends of the cable have molded strain relief. If you tap on the top or bottom of the aluminum housing it sounds like the circuit board is rattling around slightly, but the ports don't move and it showed no issue at all during use when I was playing around with it.The best thing about this multi-port card reader is the status LED indicator. You get a row of LEDs that tell you what's active, and the main power LED flashes when there is disk activity. Another cool thing is the disks work independently from one another, meaning you can remove and reinsert cards that aren't being read or written to without disturbing the file activity on other cards. Given that this reader has duplicate ports for SD and micro SD cards, this might be its killer app - you can be transferring while swapping other cards in and out from your cameras.Current builds of Windows 11 will mount a handful of drive letters when this card reader is plugged in and will refresh the drive info as you insert each card. Note that some slots overlap and can't be used simultaneously.Recommended!

I use an older Digital SLR camera that requires Compact Flash memory cards. Finding a reader that will work seamlessly with my MacBook Pro M1 is a rare event. Finding one that will support up to 5 different card formats simultaneously is unheard of.The indicators and ports are all clearly labelled. Its instructions are abundantly clear about which ports can be used at the same time and which might conflict. I was able to mount transfash (micro SD), SD and Compact Flash simultaneously. Someday I'll have to migrate to newer media and this is the ideal way to do it!Using the latest version of the MacOS, I was able to transfer 13.5GB (1,306 files) from a 266X Compact Flash card to an external drive in about 4 minutes. Outstanding!The build quality is exceptional too. This is machined aluminium rather than the typical plastic case. The built in cable and its strain reliefs look quite sturdy too. This should last for many years.Built like a tank, but performance like a Ferrari. As good as it gets for media readers from my perspective. My highest recommendation.
