Works well!
I used this to clean an antique, hand sewn quilt made by my husband's great grandmother. It was stored in a cedar chest which we thought was safe. NO! Apparently cedar has something in it that bleeds, and left a large, nasty yellow stain on this precious quilt. I used Retro Clean about 3 times, and then dried it in the sun. Each time, the stain got a little lighter. Finally it took all the yellow stain out, and did not appear to harm the beautiful colors of this quilt, made in the 20's.

Great Laundry powder
This product is great on vintage clothing. I use it on vintage doll clothes. Works well. The only thing is vintage tulle will get holey with it. Be careful with that

It removed stains that dry cleaners would not tackle.
Retro Wash works as advertised. I inherited an embroidered king size quilt that was covered in water stain marks. The dry cleaners told me they would not be able to remove water mark stains. I tried several remedies but none worked. I saw a YouTube video from two quilt makers who swore by Retro Wash and I gave it a try. After soaking the quilt for 24 hours and letting it dry, not only were the watermarks gone but the quilt was clean and looked like new. I highly recommend this amazing product.

A Miracle Worker!
This cleaned hand made placemats that are forty years old! They are as bright as the day I bought them, and those decade old food and drink stains are absolutely gone! I'm trying it now on my 65 year old dress. Already bright and line drying! I can't wait to see how it works on my mother-in-law's antique patchwork quilt next!

Works as advertised
Works best with an agitator washing machine vs a HE machine. Does not remove old perspiration stains without several washings.

Soak and deep clean fabrics.
This stuff is unbelievable, it deep cleans anything you can soak and wash. I live near Pennsylvania Amish county and frequently go to auctions where I can buy beautiful hundred year old hand sewn quilts. I have used this many times to bring back the beauty of these quilts. Oh, another thing, this will remove the brown age stains on white fabrics!!

Amazing product!!!!
Found a quilt made by my Grandmother in 1955. It was tattered along the edge and the colors were not as I remembered. The appearance was yellow and peach. A dear friend replaced the edging and told me about this product recommended by a lady in her 80s that would bring my quilt back to life. Amazing transformation the quilt became more beautiful than my childhood memories. Brought back to the original beauty of white and pink (not yellow and peach). See pics attached: 1) Before, 2) during processing, and 3) after transformed original beauty.

So Fresh And So Clean
I don’t normally leave reviews unless something is really BAD or really GOOD. Fortunately, this falls into the latter. I was given a couple vintage Gunne Sax dresses that I had thought were in pretty good condition before. It wasn’t until I soaked them in the tiniest bit of Retro Clean and saw how grimy the water was that I realized they were FILTHY. It was simple to use, it’s a great value considering how little you actually need, and the photos speak for themselves. The dresses also have a much lighter, softer feel to them now, and the old clothes, musty smell is nearly gone too. I was planning to sell these but now that they’re all shiny and new (looking), I might need to keep them for myself :)
