Fantastic Voyage: The Complete Series [DVD]

This is a blast from the past, a memory from my childhood.Yes the animation is dated, so are the stories. But I have so many fond memories of old shows like this that I can still enjoy this for what it is, good old style adventure, just sit there and enjoy the adventures of the crew of one of the best looking ships on TV, The Voyager... Just enjoy.

I bought this for my brother who enjoyed this TV series when he was kid. 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment never released this series on home video in the United States. Now almost 50 years and with the use of his multi-region disc player, he can finally see it again. The picture quality is very good. The problem is with the audio of the first 3 episodes on disc one. When played back in stereo, the sould only comes out of the left speaker instead of being in the center where the mono sound should be coming from. I hope that one day 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment will release the series on Region 1 discs for the United States and fix the audio problems. A Dolby Digital 5.1 remix would be a great bonus.

I am so glad I purchased this set. The quality is better than I ever experienced when I watched it as a child.I couldn't find this anywhere in the US. Thank you so much for making it available. Colours are vibrant and resolution is outstanding. And the memories these episodes bring back...Don't miss this.

Loved this animated series based on the Movie and book by Isac Azamove wanted this for years on dvd and although I had to order it from the UK this is the greatest and much fan as i remember it.

Takes me back to being a child again, Now all I need is some suckers (ice lollies for the Americans) shaped like a rocket and I'm fixed for a good weekend.

I love it , dvd was restored with hd tech it was great , sound was updated with hd stereo it was fantastic, yes fantastic voyage tech!!! lol
