Must read for LDS folks or LDS studies
Very impressed with Mr. Baker writing. So informative and his leaving it to reader to decide. I am not LDS but had two very kind young sisters calling on me. But all my alarm bells were going off in my mind to Beware of this religion.Joseph Smith was onlya 24 yr old farm boy when this strange experience began. He was only 18 yrs old when these he was told by the entity to take these metal tablets home which was supposedly written in Hebrew & this illiterate farm boy translated it with a seer stone. Well this boy was no prophet of God, way too young. Even the apostles were grown men.Worth reading

As a former LDS going through a difficult faith crisis, I considered myself to be atheist. That is until I came across former bishop Lee Baker on a YouTube video. After watching one of his videos I felt highly impressed by his meaaage and researched him even further and finally found peace with Christ. The Christ of the LDS faith was not the loving and forgiving Christ of Christianity.I have read some reviews that discuss Mr Baker as bashing the LDS faith. After watching his talks on YouTube, I learned that he is preaching to the LDS folks the way of Christ. This book is to be used as a reference to preach to LDS using their own doctrine. Doctrine which was once considered scripture, now goes against ones moral beliefs. Past doctrine which now contradicts the very foundation of the LDS leadership. The LDS membership is a beautiful and very loving community. The lies and deceit come from the leadership who prey on good people. Mr Baker’s goal was to get answers for church history questions which the leadership considers threatening to their authority and they continue to sweep such issues under the rug.Mr Baker has given us a powerful tool to preach the word of God to LDS believers using their own doctrine against them.

Mormonism's hard truths exposed
This book helped me SO much. If you have doubts about the LDS church, and are ready for the facts, this book is for you.

I'd go elsewhere
Not a bad read, but the more I learn about Lee the more I'm very skeptical of recommending anything Lee he has written.

Not an easy read.
Too much complications in how it is written. Would have like it written in simpler terms. Didn’t even get through one chapter.

As the daughter of an 'ex' Mormon bishop, I found this book fascinating and very though provoking.
My parents joined the Mormon church when I was 2 years of age. My sister and I were brought up strictly within the church, our father and mother were very active at every level and we were dragged along with it. I have been to the temple and was baptised for 24 people who were dead, we were also sealed to out parents for 'time and all eternity,'I stopped going to church at the age of 16, my father was excommunicated from the church when I was 18 and I never found out why. This book answered many questions for me, some rituals that I did not know about it. Also, it confirmed the indoctrination we had throughout lives, which had a huge impact on us. I am in my 60's now, this book has helped me a lot.
