My husband got 98-99% on all exam categories. He didn’t read the whole book but he said it was a great help to touch up.

I find this book very helpful so far. I took the practice exam and found out the areas I need to focus on. This book makes it easy to understand how the scoring system works and which areas to focus on for your desired job. I also found tips and tricks for taking the AVSAB in this book that I didn't see anywhere online.The online resources work but it's just confusing. The activate now link is at the very bottom of the dummies.com webpage. It's hard to notice - it's a hyperlink not a button. Once you validated your pin, on the dashboard you have to select "Create New Flash Cards" or "Create a Quiz". However, you're not actually creating anything, you're just selecting which flashcards/quiz subject you want to be tested on. I found this really confusing at first so I hope that helps. I think it would be better if it said "Study Flashcards" or "Take a Quiz". My only complaint about the flashcards is that the math flash cards are just math equations. At least from what I've seen so far. I would have liked it if these were similar to "What is the formula to find the volume of a cylinder?" instead. Also, I don't think this will matter to 99% of the people buying this book but you only have access to the online resources for one year.I got the Kindle version of this book and I enjoy it. The references to chapters are hyperlinked so it makes navigating the book easier. But if you don't have a printer to print the test bubble sheets, the online version might not be for you.

My son used this to study for his ASVAB for the Army. He passed with flying colors. Worth it
