Beadalon Crimp Beads, Size #2, Silver Plated, 1 oz, Approx. 900 pc

When I received it, it came in a baggy with a sticker on it, not like pictured. I also realized that these are not crimp tube beads and almost returned it. I decided to test this crimp bead and see if it holds the wire for the jewelry I make well. It does!! I tried tagging on it and it stayed nice and strong. The bonus is that I no longer need to use a cover for the crimp bead (unlike the tube crimp) as this crimp bead is pretty and looks like a bead. I’m keeping this package and so glad I decided to try it before returning. Of course using the right crimp tool helps too.

These crimps worked well; they formed nicely using a crimping tool and didn’t break. They were very easy to use.The color looked a bit garish but once the necklace was completed the color looked great next to the gold fill beads and findings. I used them in a rough chip diamond necklace I was repairing for a jewelry store. The customer was fine with the quality of these crimps as she wanted the necklace fixed quickly.

I love beadalon crimp beads. They crimp well, without a lot of pressure. They are unobtrusive to view. These are the perfect size for Beadalon .017” tiger tail. These are a great value.

Much smaller and shorter than expected. I had to use two side by side to feel confident it will hold strong enough. Looks nice for jewelry but a cylindrical crimp would probably be better in my case.

The crimps are effective, but every one of them has flash attached to the edge and/or blocking the hole. It's not terribly difficult to clean them up with a wire cutter and toothpick, but it is aggravating.

I had been hunting for black crimp beads that weren't too small.These are perfect.
