Visions of Snapdragon: The Seer's Blessing: Book 1 Paperback – November 1, 2023

I read 70% of this book in about 4 hours yesterday. I would have finished it then, but I had other plans already for last night, so I just finished it this morning. It was fantastic! I really hope the rest of the series is available, I might break my "no buying new books this year" rule for this series.I do have one gripe that bothered me the whole time, though: the past tense of cast is still cast not casted.

What a fun debut novel for Ms. Jana Sun!“I was falling in love with this beautifully broken man.”I’m a sucker for fantasy PLUS romance. I’m a romantasy lover, and this book delivered!The world building was fun. I haven’t read too many modern-day fantasies, so this was a nice little mix up from my normal fantasy read, and it made it easy to understand the world. And Jack is just a phenomenal FMC. She was strong, smart, sassy… I loved her, and the other FMCs! I especially loved Mari!“I moved, weaving the magic together like it was my only purpose...I was made to light fires. I was made for war.”I did enjoy the multi-POV chapter, but found them a little hard to follow at first. Once I got to know each character, it was much easier to follow along. As for the romance, it was cute. A slow burn, fun little banter, some tension jumping off the page at moments. I enjoyed the build-up of the various love interests of the different couples.“He stroked my hair, and I squeezed my arms around his neck a little tighter. There was no judgment, no shame coming from him and I dug my fingers into him…the pressure of his embrace quieting the storm in my heart like no one had ever done before.”“If you’re going to kiss me like that every time I stitch your heart back together, we’re gonna need to find some more pieces ASAP.”“Jack, I’d move mountains for you, if you asked me to.”BEWARE - this ends on a bit of a cliffhanger! You’ll be begging for book two!

An extremely entertaining, action filled urban fantasy with amazing, well developed characters that find themselves in a cyclone of chaos caused by an ancient evil... Loved every sentence! A must read if you enjoy urban fantasy and magic!

I’ve been waiting impatiently for this book to come out because Jana’s art and posts about it were so adorable, and honestly, it was worth the wait.The characters are adorable and the plot is superb. I loved the sassy cat familiar and the banter between everyone. I didn’t know how things were going to unfold in this story and it kept me on the edge of my seat.If you like magic and witches, fated mates and plot twists, as well as hot male leads and close knit friendships with other characters outside of the main pairing, then you’re going to love this book.

I was so excited to start this series because I love anything with a magic element. This book instantly hooked me into the story of these characters! Each one is so well developed and unique. I adore the magic system the world uses and there's even a magic cat! Definitely read this one if you love fantasy/magic!

Visions of Snapdragon is an urban fantasy about a witch named Jack who is being haunted by visions, a guy named Diego with a (literally) shattered heart, and a string of incredible characters that come along on the journey of finding out how to heal Diego’s heart and the links between realms that Diego ~may~ have broken.I loved the vibe of this book!! Jack runs a small witchy store where she does psychic readings and sells crystals, which is absolutely adorable. Jacks sisters are amazing and I love all of them. To be honest, there wasn’t a single character in this book that wasn’t incredibly well written. The plot had me hooked and the ending did not make it any easier on me 🥲This is the perfect read for fall vibes or if you just want a good witchy read 🔮💚At first, I was a little confused by the perspective jumps. However, when I got used to them I actually liked how we got to see all sides of the story!The beginning of the book was a little hard to get into for me, but as soon as I got through the initial world-building I absolutely devoured this book.Now all I have to do is wait for book 2 🫠

This book was such a ride! I loved all of the characters, and I think Falcon is my favorite! I’m gonna be starting the next one immediately and the last is coming out soon!!

Once you get to know the characters you have to see where the story leads them. It all just flows and the fantasy world makes sense. Typically I don't read fantasy, but I was drawn in to this story. I've now read books 1 and 2; 3 is ordered. I have to see how the story ends.
