Das Radio ist mit umfangreichen Frequenzen im Kurzwellenband ausgestattet und empfängt zusätzlich noch FM und Mittelwelle !! Er wird mit 2xAA Batterien oder über den im Set enthaltenen Rundakku betrieben !! Laden über 5V 1A nicht schnelladen...Er macht einen recht ordendlichen Eindruck und wirkt nicht billig gefertigt. Die Bedienung ist simpel und erfordert kein langes Studium der Anleitung !! Auf der Vorderseite ist ein langer Schiebeschalter zum einstellen des Wellenbandes,auf der rechten Seite 2 Drehknöpfe für die Senderwahl und ein/aus Lautstärke !Leistung:Die Empfindlichkeit auf FM ist gut und der Empfänger ist empfindlich ! Es sind einige Sender rauschfrei zu hören.Mittelwelle: Hier sind Abends einige Stationen über Raumwelle aus der EU zu hören. Die Trennschärfe und das Regelverhalten bei Fading sind ausreichend.Kurzwelle: Hier das gleiche wie für AM ! Viele Sender und gute Empfindlichkeit. Was besonders gut bei diesem Radio ist,das keine internen Störungen durch den DSP Chip vorhanden sind. Das ist leider bei vielen modernen Geräten nach diesem Schaltungsprinzip der fall,und stört den Empfang auf den AM Bändern erheblich...Was störend ist,das die beiden Drehknöpfe zu tief im Gehäuse liegen..... !! Dadurch ist das einstellen etwas schwierig,das häte man besser machen können........Bei meinem Exemplar ist offensichtlich der Lautsprecher Defekt !!! Dieser klingt verzerrt !! Am Kopfhörerausgang liegt aber ein einwandfreies NF Signal an !! Ich gehe davon aus, das dies ein Einzelfall ist,und bewerte es hier jetzt nicht Negativ ! Ich werde einen neuen einbauen und dann sollte es funktionieren !!Fazit:ein schöner kleiner Weltempfänger mit vielen Kurzwellenbändern die zudem auch noch gespreitzt sind, und man kann viele Internationale Radiosender hören. Das Gerät ist gut in der verarbeitung, und ich bin damit zufrieden.Empfehlenswert !!

I bought this radio to play during the night to keep raccoons out of the garden. It works. Gets many stations and good reception. Not very adjustable for stations, and volume is always full blast. I have to put a board on top the speaker to quiet it down.

I travel quite a bit for my job and while I have lots of options for streaming music, sometimes I just want to listen to public radio, NPR; I just want to hear someone's voice talking out to me. This radio is very nice for the options it provides. It is pretty compact and charges pretty quickly with usc-C connection. It has a decent built in speaker but also give the option of using wired headphones for a more personal experience. The bands are AM, FM and SW and although all these are offered I have only been able to listen to AM and FM channels in the United States. Music sounds nice and even but voices sound amazing and clear. This is a great option for those camping or hiking and would like to have some accompanying sound without having to plan out a playlist to listen to.
