Our wings didn’t flap and we had to send back much to the dismay of our 2 year old. However we had another bought another one and these electric fairy wings were pure magic! Bought as a present and arrived on time however when I opened the box I discovered one of the wires was already snapped and so the lights didn't work. In general the wings looked like it required more effort than I expected to put together and not sure how robust they would be opted. Returned wings with no issues.
