This was recommended to me as a cheaper replaced for the neutrogena and honestly it does feel the same. I also use it daily and it feels bottomless. I am super pleased with this purchase!!

This is an excellent product. It’s a water based gel perfect under makeup. The consistency is different than any moisturizer you’ve used prior. If you aren’t used to water based moisturizers the feeling it is a shock the first time… it almost feels like a loose gelatin dessert. It feels wonderful on the skin and dried quickly leaving moisture locked into your skin.. A++++++

**This is an experience personal to me**I absolutely love this gel cream!! i was using a gel cream before and after i would use it my skin would go back to being oily 30 mins after. I KID YOU NOT, the first time i used the elf gel cream, my skin was silky smooth and after 2 hours my skin was still smooth and not oily. I will say that you need to build this gel cream, i add extra just in case to give my skin that extra hydration. I wouldn’t recommend this for dry skin folks! and it contains fragrance if you are sensitive to that!! I also don’t like fragrance so this gel cream will receive the 5th once they remove the fragrance!!!

I LOVE THE SMELL. This is a great, hydrating product that leaves my skin glowing and very supple and smooth. I am over 50 and use this coupled with a hyaluronic serum first and it keeps my skin looking plump and soft. Works well for really dry conditions but also in humid conditions. All around good product. I love E.L.F. products.

Got this as an alternative to Neutrogena hydration gel because it's so expensive. I don't really notice any profound difference in quality or effectiveness. This gel is my go-to after washing my face, in the morning, or just when I look/feel dried out in the evening. It helps plump up through hydration and bring life back to the face. It's so lightweight and fresh, I prefer it to lotion, because it doesn't stay tacky on my skin or feel oily.

Background: oily skin, on 10mg of accutane 2 days on, 1 day offI first use a foaming cleanser, follow up w/ essence, next I use this elf (blueberry amount) moisturizer, then seal it in with an occlusive (vanicream lotion). The elf gel has weak occlusives. Petrolatum is the best to reduce TEWL in my experience. So, if you find the moisturizer not hydrating enough, ensure you're sealing in the moisturizer. That is my experience so it doesnt apply to everyone.I am pleased w/ this moisturizer as it is light and does not irritate my skin. My only complaint is the fragrance/perfume. Why do companies insist on adding this. Guess people want it. I dont think it adds value and would prefer they offer a fragrance-free version.One other plus is how affordable this item is - will repurchase.Update 9/16/24: i think this moisturizer is too light for me given that I take Accutane (even on my low dosage).12/24/24: too light for my skin even when paired w/ the vanicream cream or lotion and reducing my accutane usage. would recommend if you have no signs of dryness at all.

this helps keep my face soooo moisturized! i've been using it for a few months now. this & the triple bounce serum. then my cloud surf bubble moisturizer. perfect combo!

The product came nicely and sealed. The application on the skin was so moisturizing and was made my skin glow. The price is great! There is no scent! The size is great! The application was great!
