I am amazed at the quality of this costume. I bought it for my 14 y.o. daughter. She's 5'3" and 120 lbs., and it fits her perfectly. Not snug, not loose, but just right. Because of the low price I expected this to basically be junk (i.e. just a throwaway after Halloween--she's going as a colonial zombie lol), but it's made just as well as anything you'd buy in the store for daily wear. The lace and ribbon details are super cute, and the shawl and cap complete the outfit perfectly.

Perfect dress for my daughters Colonial day at school. We got a lot of compliments on it and most people thought it was hand made, they were shocked when I told them I bought it off Amazon! Fabric is excellent quality and the the shawl and mob cap are beautifully made with nice soft lace details. It runs a little small so order according to measurements and not your child’s usual size.

I bought this for Halloween- hard to find a dress to be Barbara Maitland (the dead wife) from Beetlejuice movie. I’ll cut the frill from the sleeves and add some buttons but this cotton floral will work. I bought the 16 year old size - I’m 5’ 7” and weigh 150. It *just* fits in the shoulders - 36A- and I’m not washing it before because any shrink to the fabric and it will be too small.

I got this for my daughter to go to a "living history" presentation. She was chosen along with a few other children to participate in the yearly celebration of a revolutionary war site. The children spoke at the event and then were able to sleep in the tents and eat with the soldiers (reenactors) a traditional meal cooked over a camp fire. She got many compliments on the dress and how authentic it looked. She then wore it in the parade with the reenactors and fit right in.

It is very pretty to be so inexpensive. I do 18th century re-enacting and my 7-year-old granddaughter wanted to help, so I brought her this little dress. She loves it. I was very surprised by the workmanship and the authenticity of it. It is not hand-made but if you want to start your young person out in historical re-enacting this is perfect.

We really liked this dress. It was week made, looked historically accurate for what we needed, and was a close a match to what my child wanted. Our only problem was that it did not come in a big enough size. We ordered the largest one and was about a size too small, which we thought might happen. Still, it’s a great dress. Better than than the rayon one we ended having to go with.

Answer same as the above blue dress. For granddaughter to play in as a character from Hamilton. She loves it!It can used for Halloween if it’s safe to go. Safety first!

Beautiful costume. Well sown and valued very well, especially considering the quality and quantity of fabric. Would definitely recommend.
