COBI COB05542 Small Army - De Havilland Mosquito FB.VI (385 Pcs) Toy, Various

Bought this for my brother for his birthday. Our Dad was in the Polish arm of the RAF during WWII and worked as a carpenter on the Mosquitos at Lasham Airfield. This model is based on a Polish plane form that very airfield so the chances are he may have actually worked on the real one itself! Anyway, back to the model. I have many Cobi tanks and a few of the planes and this Mosquito is just brilliant... they've managed to capture the distinctive graceful shape of the Mozzy from all angles. Its actually a pretty sizeable model too. Also top marks to Cobi for the way they recreate the camouflage pattern with clever use of pieces. I will certainly buy one of these for myself to add to my collection.

Bought this for my grandson who loves Lego and Lego compatable models, as well as being nuts about WW2 aircraft. This version is very close to a plastic moulded kit and the inclusion of folding undercarriage and ailerons is especially welcome. Took quite a bit of time to build but the manual is quite comprehensive, once you get used to the method behind it. Fully recommend this kit and have already earmarked the Wellington bomber version for Christmas.

It looks great but not yet constructed as it is a Christmas present for my grandson.

Brilliant model! First from Cobi and certainly not dissapointed. Easy instructions and everything fitted perfectly. The mighty Mosquito is my favourite plane ever and this really does it justice.👍👍👍

Enjoyed the kit however I found the instructions difficult to follow at times.

My first Cobi WW2 aircraft and will not be the last. Subsequently bought a P51D. I loved building both and fully recommend purchase.

Great product. Extremely well made and packaged. Crystal-clear instructions. Grandson (and granddad!) had tremendous fun constructing this model. Highly recommended.
