Very easy just plug in and secure extra wire. The item includes brackets to secure if needed. Pics show low setting vs highest in a dark house early in the am. Adds incredible charm. I have a country /french country/ Farmhouse deco style but I can see this working w/many styles. Perfect to add to kitchen lights or by itself for lower log needs. I purchased this pendant lamp for the kitchen in our summer cabin. It is a very nice quality for the price.Easy to put together, and I love the fact that it's dimmable and plugs into an outlet instead of having to wire it up electrically. It adds a nice country touch to the kitchen.

I love the look of this light and the long cord!! I looked at a lot of lights online and this had one of the longest cords which was what I needed. My only complaint is that when you put the bulb in it is a bit crooked. It was that way in both lights that we purchased but isn’t terribly noticible so I can live with it. They worked perfectly above the windows in the two dark corners in my dining room. We also purchased a pulley style hook to hang the lights from.

It did look a little cheap with the materials but for the money it was well worth every penny! We did have to add a chain to it to hang as it only came with the cord which I wasn’t expecting , but all in all a great product!

(See below for caution)Great hanging light for kitchen corner. Our walls are yellow so we needed a lamp that would compliment and not clash with the light it throws. This is perfect for our needs. One thing to be aware of is the interference it can cause with a clock radio, I believe this is from the dimmer function - I've seen that with other devices and even wall switches. So as long as you keep the dimmer switch on the the cord as far from any radio as possible you'll have no problem.

Absolutely love this lamp. Easy to install and the cord is more than long enough so it’ll reach whatever far corner you need to hang it in. Dimmer switch works great and it looks amazing with a Edison style build. I used the GE Vintage LED w/Amber glass.It is all glass so be careful while installing.

I originally purchased a pair of these to be the sole overhead lighting for two different, small rooms in my house. The dimmers don't work right with most LED bulbs (even dimmable), but I have not removed any stars for this, it is to be expected. However, the design of the glass globes doesn't allow high powered LED bulbs (in my case, 100W equivalent) to cool sufficiently.Normally I still wouldn't mind too much, since I'm the kind of guy who will fix problems where I can. (I replaced the dimmer switches with on/off toggles, for example.) However, there's no way to add ventilation to these bulbs, and I also can't find a way to change or remove the shades. So for this I've removed a total of two stars.If you're using conventional incandescent/halogen bulbs, these should be an excellent option! And with 60W-equivalent LEDs my lights work fine, so they can be useful accent lighting. But don't expect to light a whole room with 100W-equivalent LEDs in these.

I hung this amazing light in my log cabin. Even with uneven logs, the pully and light was easy to attack and hang. My husband said this beautiful light is the best addition I’ve made to the cabin. I think so too!
